Definetly busier at the moment! I am currently getting set up in the USA, I'm hoping to be able to be fully set up within a week or 2 and be able to upload consistently again!

Hey Sam! I was recently working so hard in my last several months! Watching bouts 24×7 hours a day! Working hard! Watching and analysing new tricks in bouts! I had started to play really well.... Then my U-17 national competition came (it was like 3-4 days ago) first of all I was so determined and had a lot of confidence that I will definately win a medal!! But things didnt go well that much! I won 5 bouts and lost 1 bout in pool! My confidence was low now! And in the Table of 64 I lost by 15-9.... I am now so depressed and stressed! My coach who supported me very well now began to hate me! I dont know how to restart my training! Where did I lacked in! What was going in my mind! :( I think of u as my bestfriend so I just told You these!! Hope u will understand! 😖

Losing is a big part of fencing, keep going ! You only fail if you quit, talk to your coach and see what he thinks 🤔

@@GPFencing Ah! I think I was wrong! My coach doesnt hate me! He was just furious about my unexpected lost! He still treats me like his own son! Ummm.... I am still practising hard! I have a goal now! - mission 2028 olympics!! And I will do anything for it! I will have 3 competitions this month so wish me luck! 😇 ONE SINGLE BAD COMPETITION CANT DECIDE MY SKILL, HARDWORK AND POTENTIAL THOUGH! I am practicing 10 hours a day for 3 years btw! 🗿

I recommend researching some sports psychology. Losing ONE pool bout should not be THAT bad for your confidence. You WON the others, out of all the bouts you fenced that day, you won most of them. Work on ways to manage your emotional state as it plays a large role in how you perform. It's okay to be disappointed or dissatisfied with losing, but you need to move on to the next one and get stuck in with what you're doing. You're clearly still quite young, so you have a lot of time to work on these things. You can definitely improve.
