I have recently found this channel And I’m so grateful, Thankyou It’s been 2 years since my catastrophic brain injury. During my recovery, I found Bob. Started painting. Love it🌈 Bob’s gentle encouraging style-I’m not just using it for painting-I have new life philosophies too And. I do struggle to follow Bob as good as he is You seem to add simple tips that make a world of difference-i can cognitively follow what you are suggesting You are very appreciated Thankyou

Good morning Heema. The paper is actually plastic coated and usually used for wrapping food for the freezer. I have grease proof paper. Is that the same as butter paper? 🙂🙂😀

"Mountain Rhapsody" is so well named! And hahaha, now if your palette isn't the most cobbled together and most useful I've even seen, then I don't know what is?! I do recommend a plastic cutting board too. I've found them quite useful 😄But hmm, I see I'm going to have to get me a painting fairy! 😂🥰

I've watched a bunch of your videos, Paul. Great tips here ! But with folks I follow, like yourself I always have some question. With you, I wonder what brands and grade paints you use ? I mostly use Gamblin myself and mostly 1980 series.
@PaulRansonArt8 ай бұрын
Hi David - I mainly use Bob Ross branded paints as they are often the ones fans of Bob have to hand. But I like using Winsor and Newton too. Both traditional and water mixable oils. The water mixable I use predominatly for dry brush techniques. My old car video and the sea turtle both use this technique. Its great for wildlife and portraiture too. Hope this helps - Paul 😃😃😎😎
@davidg.50768 ай бұрын
@@PaulRansonArt It's interesting that you mention Windsor and particularly the water cleanup line ( Artisan I believe it's named). Windsor Newton is my second line after Gamblin. But I'm interested in the water cleanup for my wife. She has trouble cleaning with solvents, so I do that for her. Honestly, she has now tried oils and finds the blending and misty scenes so much easier than acrylics. But I've never seen anyone collect so many brushes in a half hour session as she does !. I'm not complaining but I did have the thought that water cleanup might be great for her. She could clean her own as she goes and not gain such a collection by the end of her session, as she does with acrylic.
@PaulRansonArt8 ай бұрын
Sounds like water mixable oils are a perfect fit. @@davidg.5076
