Great video! Could you do a video about elderly care? Like hospice, assisted living, etc.

Thank you so much! I’m currently pregnant and we’re trying to decide whether to move to Italy before or after her birth, so we really appreciate this info!

What's the minimum mortgage amount that a citizen can take out in Italy? Example if there's an apartment unit for sale for 50,000, does the purchaser need to buy it in cash?

I don't know if I understood your question correctly, but in any case banks in Italy do not provide mortgages below a certain threshold, normally set at €30,000. You cannot make purchases over €5000 using cash

@@geridelbello4480 Grazie! The down payment needs to be at least 40% right? And then after the down payment of 40%, the mortgage has to be minimum €30,000?

@@kingkobra10 Usually, when the preliminary sales contract is signed, a sum ranging between 10% and 15% of the price is paid to the other party as a deposit. In general, the maximum amount that can be financed is equal to 80% of the market value of the property subject to the mortgage. I hope I was helpful. Saluti!

There's some talk of movements being made in the Italian government regarding denying cases with minor issues across the board lately that has some people reconsidering their applications. Could you perhaps speak on these developments, and if cases with minor issues would now be denied across the board, when such a change would take effect? For instance, if one had their consulate appointment and their application was being processed, and the Italian government then decided to deny applications with minor issues, would it affect an application that was in the processing stages?
