Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed this bull ant video! Be sure to check out Antandco (link in description) if you want to start your own bull ant colony. And yes. I know Anthony. Is technically female but can’t we all agree. He needed to be called Anthony! Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share the video if you enjoyed it ❤️

Just wondering if you have any tips for these ants. I caught a queen of slightly different species myrmecia fulvipes but assumed myrmecia have similar care. Specifically, how often and what do you feed, recommended things in outworld such as why you have so many springtime and do you recommend Ytong nest over test 4ube inside outworld because others said use tube and that is what I have currently, but I see your setup worked very well. Also what sugars do you feed yours, just jelly? I feed mine honey, just wondering. Also how often do you check on them not to freak them out as well as how you get such good footage without scaring the Queen. This is kind of long but the help would be much appreciated considering your experience 😊

I think you need to change your dirt brand or where you get your crickets from, because mites are a constant problem on this channel.

I have a ant infection not a ant collector but I had a huge infestation in my home . Estimated to be 700,000 black England garden ants. The specialist said it’s the largest he’s ever seen in 30 years. I was interested from your channel and my black ants. Totally understand them a lot more now. Even tho they’ve taken over my home and I’ve moved house. There so incredible

But fire ants can only get to 400k and fire ants are the second most successful ants and lasius Niger aka black England garden ants have only got up to 40 thousand in really rare chances their maximum is mostly 7 thousand

idk if this can work it just a theory but mites hate the cold and dryness, what if you put dry is in water took a fan and for 30 seconds you fan dry air into the next 2 times a day for 4 days and see if it helps? but it is risky ik but maybe its the best option your call.

If you have a mesh between ants that would attack each other, preventing both sides from crossing, eventually, they’ll acclimate.

Are you sure they were dead? they look like a typical pupae when you opened the cocoons, they might have left them outside to temperature regulate? Also bull ants are always hard, don't feel bad about yourself.

Next time, just cut a small opening and let the other workers do their job Or just let nature do it's thing, You might killed the colony by transferring them to various places that the aren't familiar with, you can see that they are weak and they won't be able to spread new pheromones and clean the place up! RIP Anthony tho😢

At this point im just wondering if its for clicks or not. i cannot imagine the stress this colony is going through... no wonder its not thriving after all these months. i hope i am wrong, but this is just not a good look.

You have at least 6 years experience of ant keeping, and you are by far the most disastrous keeper i’ve ever seen. Expecting your colony to hunt when they are only 1-2 workers strong. Made the decision to relocate a them second time after you just sterilized some mites and relocated them. Then moved them into a nest packed with dirt. Over stress your queen. Then she is forced to do a worker’s job and dig. And also reintroduce a wet moist dirt environment for the mites to thrive again. She also probably stopped laying eggs for you. Good grief what a disaster. I’ve seen you overwater your nests and drowned all the pupae. Forceful move your camponotus colony and they became without a nest and died off just like this.
tbh seems like your fault they all died the ants clearly didnt want to hunt so why tf would you force them to, they probably just wanted to scavenge because they didnt wanna risk the few members they had to hunt rather get strong from just scavenging and then hunting once an army was built
