But I know if they see this they probably have regret and is a teachable moment. I am not going to lie sometimes even with a giving heart after losing a lot it is hard to give, but it is worth it and I always pray when I see someone in need and I give even when I don’t really have it that God uses it for more than just what it actually is. If it is a dollar I pray they get a 100 more or that dollar and more than that hope and blessings to endure and overcome their current situation. For example about it sometimes being hard to give even when you want to. Yesterday, I was withdrawing the little bit of money I had from one bank to put it in the bank where all my bills come out. I took out $38 to keep on me for myself for just in case I need it. Now, in the process there was this homeless black female asking for food, but looking extremely defeated like I know no one is going to help me, but knowing she still needed to ask or she was out of luck for the night as it was already 9pm. The shelter system here in NYC for single people is not easy, it can sometimes be horrible for families, but can be okay depending on where they place you, but the first few days is horrible and scary and it is a lot of rules that can make you bounce around for the most frustrating reasons which can start the process all over constantly. Anyway, I knew in my heart I wanted to give her something and I gave her $5 and she had a vision problem that I didn’t catch until I gave her the money. I ended up stopping to do a few other errands and realized after walking a few blocks that I should go pay this other bill to avoid a late fee because the location I use to go to pay closes now at 5pm, so I should just pay it since there is a location where I was that still open. Now, I transferred money to the card from my bank account which typically takes secs to pull it out an approved no fee atm where I was currently (because I wouldn’t have had enough money to pull it out without a fee). The money wasn’t showing up after 20 minutes. I ended up walking back to the bank where I deposited to pull out what was left because I couldn’t cancel it and was lead to give this homeless man who was praising God $1. Then I headed back blocks to pay the bill. As I was walking I was acknowledging the fact I myself haven’t eating all day after helping to take care of a toddler for a mom who had to go to a meeting thinking she was returning to work after having surgery on her foot and found out she was fired. Before I left I helped her apply for unemployment benefits, and I am currently not working myself due to health issues and I had a nice salaried position after work hard and being promoted three times in three years. And I laughed to myself a little because here I am giving people money I don’t really have and the food I did get and was trying to get home to eat used birthday rewards to get (my birthday was two days ago and I was watching the baby as the mom was sick and passing out the night before my birthday), so I figured I celebrate (God willing) after the loss of my child and almost dying myself last year around this time. Anyway, I paid the bill and eventually got home to eat my free birthday food. And I was grateful that I was able to give someone something, and I prayed for the last guy and told him things are going to turn around and he claimed it. I was grateful despite the struggle for how strong, resilient, and counted everything that is good or I consider good in my life. Despite losing so much in the last few years I see how God’s hand is still over me. And I want to delete this now because I am very private and didn’t intend to share this much, but I hope this helps someone understand that sometimes it is hard to give even when you want to give, even the giver may be in need and carrying a lot of money weight on their shoulders, but I learned from my experiences that when you believe in God He takes what seems like not enough and make it more than enough. Trust me things are about to shift for me and them even though I wouldn’t wish the pain and more tragedy I didn’t mention that I endured this year and throughout my life, please remember that when we give it comes back to us good measure, pressed down shaking together and running over. And truly in the moments of me giving I am praying in my head and sometimes out loud hoping that it is more than a donation, hoping that it breaks off whatever is on the person or simply helps encourages the person to go into the next phase of their journey. Hoping they receive abundance in the best way and they also remember to give. Life is not easy, but we all have the ability to make everyone’s life or day a little bit better. ❤

I watched it a few times and just noticed that the lady with baby who received 10k was filmed in the beginning at the back when they asked the first lady! she was looking at them! I'm sure she was thinking that the 1k could've helped her and her baby 😭 but I'm glad that later she got 10 times more!!

Watching this, my honest opinion is that its a no brainer to give 10k. Unless you really need the 1k. I do believe that acts of kindness eventually come back to you, and in this video, it happened immediately. However, usually you have to wait. Even if its just the knowledge that you helped someone in greater need than you, thats enough

Actually hope they told the ppl who were selfish that they would have gotten 10K as well if they gave the 10K away, so they will rethink their selfish thoughts next time. And dont tell me they not selfish, if u choose ur self to have 10bux vs being able to give someone else 10x as much 100 (which has SO much more worth and meaning) than ur just really greedy, doesnt matter if u do this with a million or 1euro, 10x multiplier : 2 = still 5x for you, so u AND have a low EQ and have a low IQ if u picked the 1x multiplier for yourself
