Lovely (to me Lulu was the best)! Remembering my grandad who was a dahlia breeder near Johannesburg way back in late 1940s or so. He used to show at the annual Rand Easter Show.

This was fantastic! I dont fly, and I get sea sick, so Wisley etc I will never see…so grateful for this day out!! Fyi, I grew Big Brother dahlia this yr, kinda of an off hand “I guess I will try it,” OMG, absolutely fantastic with Black Jack and Arabian Nights, ALL sunflowers except for the golds (yuck) doesnt fight with zinnias of any sort (except for the golds, yuck) just really an incredible sherbety yellow rose orange thing going on, great with creams pinks whites lavenders, blacks, deep reds and violet purples. completely awesome. I struggle with hot palette, irksome and garish, well, Big Brother changed all that, lol. Also, loved that you mentioned Jekyll, a genius, like you, but as far as I understand it, she died penniless, but the ladies of the Philadelphia PA USA Garden Club kept her together body and soul financially, recognizing and PAYING FOR genius when they saw it. Ah, with the gardener dies the garden, a terrifying truism, but this US gardener will pay for genius when they see it. More coffees. Everyone shld be getting Georgia coffees.I am no RHS, but I know genius when I see it. Thank you Georgie. Loved “my day” at Wisley!! Xoxo P from NH.

What a beautiful garden! Yes yes yes I would love to win the lottery 😍 oh my goodness how fun would that be!!! The flowers are so beautiful I really don't think I could pick just one. Like you I was struggling to get home Thursday trying to beat the afternoon traffic and I failed miserably...I was so exhausted after two days of back to back appointments with cancer doctors and all the amounts of driving. I hit the bed Thursday at 6pm when I got home and I stayed in bed until this morning which is Saturday. I was totally exhausted. Your humor Georgie always makes me laugh. Lol. God bless 😊

I discovered you and your channel in early September. Your videos bring me so much joy! I love making arrangements with dahlias and summer annuals and sharing with others. We had a light frost last week so I was out covering our 200 dahlias and saved them. We live in the countryside in southern Wisconsin in the US and have a colder climate than you. However I start seeds in January (lisianthus)and finish planting tulips in December so I'm able to grow all year! Thanks for the inspiration!
