( separate times, not bio) The children are AHHHMAZING..the state will tear people apart. If ya know ya know. I wish I could have a bigger home & take in more!! No with DVA rife worse and worse sure easy ppl to wonder her face so bruised bad but to tell it good on her clesr it no was not my husband. Did she say a footpath. Been a while for me since trip more cautious, but yes tip of shoe catch, to yes wack in face couldve been worse, before could proper stop it hurt, never blackend though. So its way asking so was it hubby or someone assaulted, to really was it accusing or concern asking. Bc many do get abused but excuses walked into door whatever. Awwww that's nice. My mom and dad was the best foster parents in Puerto Rico🇵🇷 . They always bring her kids for all around the Island. Over 100 kids. They ending keeping 2 girls 4 and 5 years old. Those are my little sisters since then. They are already in the 40's, and for them my parents are their parents❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏

You would think that but as I spend almost half my life homeless I helped people when I can. Nobody helped me ever I give out money when I had it cause strangers needed food, smokes when I had them but can't get nothing when i was going days with no food i couldn't bum a smoke from anyone so I don't think anyone would do anything just like I went through and seen everyday. I saw a guy begging for help didn't know what to do an camped at the welfare office an bus department. I gave him a couple bucks a few times he was in bad health and then he died on that street. Even the welfare office treated him like trash. That was Atlantic city NJ welfare office. And if your a white person good luck getting the help unless your lucky enough to catch them saying the stuff they were cought saying when I had an advocate with me who didn't believe me that they hate white people then the advocate heard it and all a sudden I got some help. Still ended up homeless but for a bit again. Currently I'm not because of family taking me in but I'm sure I'll be homeless again eventually being cripple an mental don't help much but whatever it is what it is idk anymore

When she said “none of my Facebook friends helped” I felt that in my soul. I was robbed and shot when I was 26 and I was left paralyzed from waist down. I remember asking my “Facebook friends “ (over 2000) for help cause I couldn’t pay for therapy or medical supplies and to this day I still haven’t even received encouraging words. Goes to show how fake social media can be

As a social worker who has trained, managed, and cerified foster homes over the last 18 years this warms my heart! I know an older couple here who have fostered over 200 kids and adopted a few..the foster farther passed 11 month ago and his wife thought of quitting but has kept going. I raised children my entire adult life, my husband and divorced and I continued to care for three teenage children. Not long after my divorce I could no longer financially care for these children and had to give the children back to there mother after caring for them 12 years. I then had to move into my sons home. Because of the debts I had accumulating through the years. I just thank God for people like you who help those you meet!

Wow! I was a host home provider for over 20 years in my home . One of the people I cared for was with me for 22 years. He’s was total care & so precious. He was wrongly institutionalized by a misdiagnosis at 13. Didn’t get out until he was in his 60’s , and bounced around from home to home until he came to live with me in 2001. He was here until he passed early this year 2023 . I miss him so much. Of course I’m glad he’s finally free of the troubles the living have, he had lots of health issues. but oh my heart misses him sooo much . I’m exhausted tho.

We had a lot of challenges in the beginning. She couldn’t use a fork or a spoon, no one could approach her from the front, non verbal and would have enormous meltdowns. Now she talks all day long, has learned a lot of self care, happy and sings every country and Christian song she hears. She tells us she loves us and that is worth all the work 24/7. It's not just what you do for people but the fact that you bring Christ into the situation whenever you have the opportunity. I started struggling with Major depression and PTSD about 10 years ago and ended up having to quit my job after I ended up getting physically ill with some miscellaneous things as well. I've gotten much better but it took about 9 and 1/2 years longer than I thought it would to climb out of the valley, or step out of the fire however you'd like to look at it! I still have some of THOSE days and I purposely watch some of your videos to get my smile back. Seeing the joy you bring into people's lives brings joy into mine as well 🥰

The power of hope is unmatched. The experience of having a random stranger do you an extreme kindness for altruistic reasons is transformative. As someone who is completely turned off by almost every facet of organized religion I want to tell you that THIS is the way back in. Every single other person trying to preach to me can pound sand, but I'll support what you're doing even though I don't share your religion. I say this all the time. Im an Uber driver in my city and cart around mostly the poor or carless to work and for their normal lives everyday, and then I drive the better off to drink on the weekends. If I had real money I would still drive Uber because people tell me their very real problems in my car for some reason. I guess like a bartender or something, they see me as someone who they’ll see for 10 minutes and never see again, so when their days are especially shitty they vent to me. I would love to be able to pull out a wad of cash and help these people out when their problems are money related. Idk just a weird fanstasy I have, especially as I can relate to stressing over money

i just lost my vietnam vet grandad. i wear his hat that looks just like this mans in public and every vietnam vet i meet has been super kind, my grandma can barely make it on her own now since he died, he was getting quite a bit of money a month but shes only getting a little over 1000 a month from his death now, its so fucked. the saddest thing is he was certain shed keep all his pension and retirement after he died.
