Once you hit the groove of the game it becomes addicting. It's got that "one more day" hook with it's calendar system

Get Ryuji to Rank 7 ASAP. It makes the grind in Mementos soooooo much better. Additional tip, if you ever plan on replaying it for NG+, max your Star and Temperance confidants on your first playthrough.

not sure if it is a spoiler or not but what they don't tell you is the game's story starts in media res. i didn't realize it until about 20 minutes in lol

Very fun game, highly recommended. As much as I also recommend Persona 4 Golden or Persona 3 Reload And if you want to emulate earlier titles Then Persona 1 and Persona 2 Duology. All games in the Persona franchise are amazing. All have their own quirks that make them stand out amongst the rest. Persona 5 Royal while personally not my all time favorite, it’s still an amazing game with some of the most fun dungeon crawling mechanics I’ve played. It’s overall a good ol time.

2:06:00 this is kinda very Japanese. To repeat the last thing someone else was saying is kinda a „yeah, I‘m listening and taking in what you‘re saying, also elaborate“ kind of thing. But it‘s a bit klunky when directly translated to english since it isn‘t natural conversation flow. I got used to it by now but I can see it being irritating xD

@@V1G4M1 this might just be me but I got the vibe that Sojiro cared after two to three interactions with him, he is no doubt acting like a pr*ck but it felt like the game is dropping consistent hints that he’s gonna get better in the future.

@resumethyvideo7631 There's more to the story than what's shown. So far, Sojiro is being benevolent, a caretaker that is erring on the side of 'perhaps he was being made to look way worse'. The first day isn't even over, and Sojiro is extremely complex. Not to mention, there are other things that have become well known memes in the game that, if stated immediately, will cause a bit of the mystery of who the 'traitor' is to disappear. I would hate for part of the story to be made moot by a chatter, much less a meming chatter.

It's like saying Luke Skywalker's Dad isn't actually dead at the beginning of the movie. Now I just have to connect the dots of, 'Wow, Vader means Father in German, Wonder what that's about.'
