I recently had the chance to actually tell Stewart why this song held such a special and personal place in my life. It was in the top three of the most memorable moments of my life and I've had a LOT of memorable moments. He's one helluva guy!

It is definitely an awesome Stewart song, probably my favorite.- Its an awesome cover .Mark and Adrian do an amazing job. I especially like the thing Adrian does as an accent high on the neck on that second verse, perfect timing - Kinda Andy-esque in regards to nuance. To me Darkness is a special song it shows the great lyrics and music from Stewart, yet the song is the complete Police synergy when Sting sings and plays bass to it- and then Summers, its totally complete and unique. Its vise -versa when its Stings lyrics and music- its just fits-. They definitely had something magic!

Possibly my all-time favorite POLICE tune. Lotta depth in tune and lyrics. I love ambiguity.

I just love this! A guy that's a bit lost in the all-star line-up is keyboard-player Vittorio Cosma; when listening to the Gizmodrome album I was struck by the VERY tasty keyboard sounds and licks he made. More than Adrians guitars really, Vittorio shines in this!

What an interesting time the second incarnation a King Crimson the police level 42 Talking Heads and Bowie were in. That 3 year was a very fertile time. 1979 to 1982. Punk and New Wave opened the doors. Stewart waited long enough to be able to play this music without his old band mates. You can find no better replacements then Adrian and Mark King.

Excellent cover! Hey, it’s a cover, Mark K isn’t Sting, I mean, hey, come on, Gordon is Gordon, after all- but our man Marko does this tune with soul, pizzazz and spark

Not sure it's a cover if the writer was on the original recording and is on the stage
