ALL manufacturers should do the rigorous testing that Samsung does for the batteries cause the s8 lasted until 248.9 degrees C before it exploded which is very good. The screen turned off at 176.7 degrees C ( 76.7 degrees C above the boiling point of water remember) . He should do this with other phones to see how long they survive.

The readings are wrong. As you can see at 1:55 there is a small F for Fahrenheit. Celsius would be a C. This is why your readings are so high. It's in Fahrenheit. This explains how the phone was surviving on what you thought was over 400 Celsius.
