GJ Third Brake Light Install (2)

This is a supplemental video to the original install video. I wanted to show a few extra steps that some of my great friends and followers have called out to me. I hope you find them useful.

Wanted to mentioned that if you don't get the reverse wire harness, you can still control the center light by hitting the cargo light button next to the head light switch. How ever this will go off if the truck starts moving faster then 5 mph. This is how I am set up on my truck.

Does the center light still light up when you turn on the cargo light(via button in bed of truck or by the button next to headlights in cab)? Or is it strictly controlled by the AUX switch now?

I just installed my 3rd brake light kit but the 3 LEDs at the bottom don't light up. I have a black wire from the relay and a blue wire from the main connector that I can't seem to figure out where they connect to.

So which wiring harness did you select? Did you select the one with the "Reverse light harness" for $15 and just spliced into the upfitter switch in the passenger side kick panel as opposed to splicing into the brake light panel for the reverse feature?

@Offroad Alliance Aux switches 1-5 are already dedicated to other lights on my truck. Do you have an idea of what I could do with only switch #6 available to run the same setup as you have? Thanks

@@JakeH-60 I believe Aux 6 is only a 5amp fuse...so would have to be something with low power/amp draw

I just installed my 3rd brake light kit but the 3 LEDs at the bottom are nowhere near as bright as the ones on your truck. They are very very dim. In order to see them you have to cup your hand around the LED. Did I miss a step?

Jorge Fonseca unpin the wires and swap them on the small relay linking then harness to the truck wiring and they should work properly

Offroad Alliance just tried it with no luck. Could that small black square relay be bad?
