Tallest to shortest maximizes protection and visibility at the same time. Near post player always faces keeper to get directions on the position of the wall.

Well, the general rule is that when the FK is being taken from a side (not from the middle of the penalty box), you stand on the closest goalpost and place the first (and tallest) defender outside of the imaginary line between the post and the ball (to cover for a curve ball from the angle closer to the goal) and then place defenders next to that player, in height-descending order, until you can barely see the ball while standing in the middle of the goal. If the FK is being taken from the middle, good luck! Everyone does a different thing.

I can give you a suggestion. Just talk to the coach about set pieces and give all the players their roles beforehand, that will be lot easier than starting a tactical class in the middle of a game where you are telling them 100 times where they should be.

A lot of times I rather have 1 or 2 players on a wall or .. have the wall with some space inbetween each players so that I can actually see the ball and see where it is going to go. I have considered some what many goals due to visibility being blinded beacuse of the compacted wall. I think if you need to put 4-5 players as a wall there should be a gap where I can see the ball clearly.

Practice your left dives by doing them kinda like in slow motion. Then you will start getting confortable

Take your team on a hiking trip to the top of a mountain. Then blindfold the entire team and place them so the cliff of said mountain is on their left. Tell them all to turn and walk to their right. Whoever went left you now don't have to deal with anymore and you have an entire team of people who know their left from right.

I think that u should always try to save with palms except when u want to kick the ball far away from the goal then use fists. Keepers who use fists too often are doing that just to look better and they are usually not really good

@@snakemaster0697 well, you can mark that Neuer often plays with his fists in situations where most of the goalkeepers would play with palms, idk why :) it might be a specific technique or smth else, that's why I asked that question

The having to call out the number of defenders 10 times is a very true thing that has happened to me a foul got called I called 3 defenders and 2 showed up and then ref blew the whistle so I couldn't do anything about it thankfully they didn't score.

Yeah the player taking it whispered to the ref and was running to take the shot as the ref blew. Best to have a man or 2 stand in the way of the ball as the wall is being set up.
