We are taking a Norwegian cruise late October. Thanks for Posting this. I love it. The beautiful pictures of Glacier Bay and the animals that are still there so late in the year. Are the "seals" actually otters that are known for swimming on their backs?

The seals could be otters. Was tough to see specifically what they were but they were everywhere! Have an amazing trip and it should be beautiful with the snow coming down the mountain slopes by October.

Getting that close to the glaciers is awesome. I was so bummed last year when NCL Bliss couldn't get all the way up the Endicott Arm to Dawes Glacier but it was early in the season.

Those were otters, not seals....they were swimming on their backs and you could see their tails. very cool to see so many.
