How wonderful that you have this record of Glacier National Park. A very large wildfire went through there and the sister National Park in Canada Waterton this Late Summer...August, September of 2017. As I write the fires are still burning but are under control. It will take another 100 years for the forest to return to the state that you photographed it in. It is the circle of life though and Wildflowers previously unable to bloom in shady areas will now bloom in abundance as the years progress. Thank you for all the great "Amazing Places" which you document.
@milosh9k7 жыл бұрын
+Barb White Wow, didn't know the wildfire affected Glacier. I arrived for hiking in Waterton Lakes beginning of September, did only Crypt Lake, and the next day the park was closed, I will still release video from this hike. Such a pity, but you are right, long term this will not have negative effect on nature...
