I actually like the St. Mary visitor center because it added more of the Native American culture. The other ones didn't add much of it. Just more profit which is kinda sad.

St. Mary has a great visitor center because of the native American history. These visitor centers needs to be less commercial selling stuff and more about the history of the park.

I do see an osprey nest. They are normally around a river somewhere. But can't wait to see the St. Mary visitor center. Hopefully more trails are available to us.

The St. Mary side is beautiful and my favorite side. I like the west side too. But, east side is closer to the popular hikes. The St. Mary visitor center is may favorite because it dives into more of the Native Americans that lives in the area.

Stayed at the East side Johnson st mary campground and the views was the best. Especially in the morning. I brought my wife the mountain goat stuff animal too. She is a collector too. Love the bear shirt. That's a funny saying.

July is very heavy bear activity I noticed in the park. Many of the trails are either blocked off or still covered in snow. I wonder if September is the best time to come in the end.

St. Mary visitor center was the best one in the park. More history with Native Americans. But the town in the area was very nice but commercial food was expensive, including gas.

Thanks for the pro tips coming to St. Mary visitor center, especially the cellphone signal. That will come in handy at some point. I like that you show us as much as you can on the East side so we are not going in blindly. It get us newcomers prepared.

The other visitor centers don't talk much of the Native Americans in the park which is odd. Maybe because they are very small visitor centers could be it.

St Mary visitor center is a great place to visit. We got our backpack country permit there. I think it's the only place you can get it. But east side village is beautiful to say but, you are kinda trapped there once you get there. So gas up and bring food from the outside.

I agree on being trapped there. HWY 89 coming into the east side was not done and was dangerous going on it.

We did drive past the East side village area then headed to the Many glacier area. We did go to St Mary Visitor center. That signal near the visitor center was a lifesaver for us. We forgot to pay a bill and we had no signal in the park. But we spent like two hours at the visitor center.

Good to know about the Internet connection in the park or in the area if we need it. It's very spotty on the east side. The west side you van survive a little better. The gas is always questionable.

The St. Mary's area is so nice and peaceful, it's definitely wasn't the busier side of the park, but we did enjoy it. When stopped in at the lodge there and had a nice lunch after our day trip to Many Glaicer. I had to laugh when I saw you go into the same store we did way back in 2014 🤣 It looks the same! By any chance were you able to make it to the Two Medicine area on your trip?
@coastskyadventures2752
@coastskyadventures2752 Жыл бұрын
Sadly no on Medicine. It's so far away from the East side and from the West side. You would have to stay at a campground down on the west side and take that journey. If I go back to Glaciers, that is on the list to explorer and Canada side Waterton. I need to get my passport.

@@coastskyadventures2752 we camped there for 2 days when we visited, and it was beautiful and it was had less visitors. Definitely try to get there.
