GLADIATORS BOXING ACADEMY 4K DRONE DJI MINI 3 PRO

This is a promotional video I have done for a friend of mine who runs the Gladiators Boxing Academy in Huddersfield.
I haven’t ever seen anyone use a Drone before inside a Boxing Club before and so it is nice to see how the footage can be combined with handheld cameras to produce the video.

I would not only like to thank Den Doyle for his help in making this video happen but also to all the Boxers who also made this video possible. I would also like to thank my eldest son Nathan who used to train and box for the club when he was an amateur boxer and went on to win many titles and eventually box professional thanks to the fantastic work they do at the club.

Absolutely and great practice. I learned a lot when I did the promo for FightLab Martial Arts school and took what I learned from that to this one and it’s amazing how each video improves and you gain new editing skills etc also.

Thank you so much. I did try and capture that and it seemed to work lol. Gladiators Boxing Academy is a really good rectangular shape so you can fly down each side and edges. The only place where it would have been hard to fly was where there were a load of punch bags hanging from the ceiling but apart from that it wasn’t too bad at all. The FightLab Martial Arts school was a lot harder as there were more beams and flags etc hanging so had limited movement there but still worked out okay. I will get better each time i do a video like this.

I just wish I had found photography, in particular videography earlier in life and so I am trying to learn as fast as I can as you never know how much time you have left to create something for others to enjoy even after we are no longer here.

Glad you liked it! I am just experimenting with different idea’s thinking outside of the norm as to what a drone can be used for. Boxing Club (ticked). The Coaches and Boxers were all absolutely fantastic on the night I was filming. I was tired just trying to keep up with them and just watching made me tired LOL. It’s a great club to be honest and quite unusual to have 4 x Boxing Rings which helped make the video even better.

@@thedronedudedenmark I used the Mini 3 Pro for most of it but for the up close and personal stuff I used the DJI Pocket 2 with my hand through the ropes as it’s the closest camera I could use for image continuity, safety and was more practical for those close up shots. The Pocket 2 camera isn’t quite as good as the M3P one, in particular it’s more noticeable in low light but luckily the lighting was quite good in the boxing club. You can see the difference between camera’s a lot more on the Martial Arts School I filmed as you can see image noise especially on the black uniforms as the lighting was a little dimmer.
