I like how Gladion is the only rival whose entire team treated like actual characters like a main character team rather than just exist to battle Ash or someone else. It's so rare to see rival pokemons having this kind of interactions and impact on Ash's pokemon outside battle

In Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, I captured (and evolved) three Rockruff (female) I'd found. Nicknamed "The Timekeeping Trio," I'd named them Solara (Midday form), Lunala (Midnight form), and Duskana (Dusk form), and gave them each movesets that matched the time of day they evolved in as closely as possible. Hohoho! Geeta, Kieran, the (not so) Loyal Three, and Terapagos never stood a chance! The three sisters OWNED them all paws down!

This is, easily, my second favorite rival Pokemon, behind only Electivire. He reminded me so much of him, in how he respected Lycanroc, while being fierce rivals at the same time... Combined with an awesome move pool. It's awesome when the anime has rivalries going that have both Pokemon respect each other like this and, even, find the other as a mentor. Blaziken and Sceptile... The two Incineroars, etc. to name a few similar ones.

I wish Gladion had a midnight form lycanroc in the sun and moon games like he does in the anime. I always loved Gladion’s lycanroc cuz it edgy appearance and personality perfectly matches Gladion. I also loved the rivalry between it and Ash’s dusk form lycanroc cuz it made Ash win much more awesome.

Gladion's silvally and lycanroc are definitely most memorable in his team. I also liked gladion's strategy during final battle against Ash. He first used his strongest pokemon silvally to give ash some trouble. He then used zoroark to disguise as lycanroc to give ash false sense of security as it is a pokemon that ash is most familiar with for battling. But when lycanroc used night daze, that put ash off guard considering it cannot learn such stuff. After illusion went off gladion would pit his father's ace against ash's ace pokemon. Finally it would conclude with lycanroc duel. It may not have been full battle but it was definitely one of top 10 battles

I think Gladion’s Lycanroc was cool and it was similar to Paul’s Torterra we’re it went out of its way to help Rockruff also you say It only lost Twice so you don’t count it it being hypnotised by Faba’s Hypno as a loss and you should do a video on Goh’s Cinderace next.

You forgot to mention that Gladion's Lycanroc was at Clawmark hill.I know because it watched carefully to see how Rockruff's improvement has been since it last saw it and not to mention Gladion's and Olviva's Lycanroc both cared and looked after Ash's rockruff.

I didn't include that as it's not confirmed if that was the same Lycanroc. I think it's probably not Gladion's because it was 12 episodes before Gladion's debut. The debut made it seem like his return was pretty recent

Hey professor i have a request since you are continously talking about every pokemons history in the anime i want you to make a video on "alpha infernape" there's a theory that say ash's infernape is an alpha pokemon 2022 game pokemon legend arceus reveals the secret power of ash's infernape which was unknown for a long time, centuries ago alpha pokemons exists in sinnoh region at that time sinnoh was called hisui region if u know then still let me explain a little more - alpha pokemons are slightly stronger than a legendary pokemons because they are not just super strong but also due to their aggressive nature but as much I've researched i found that " alpha pokemons are hell they get stronger and stronger in less time because they do intense training in wild areas something we saw about ash's infernape too, alpha pokemons never stay in same power level it's like they always break their limits and in the anime - when infernape activated it's alpha form in volkner's gym he was trying to destroy it but the infernape who activated alpha form in sinnoh league literally shaked the stadium and potentially could destroy it this is the power gap in alpha pokemons just because they grew stronger one thing more alpha pokemons know a move which can only be teach by move tutor and we know chimchar knows dig which infernape's evolutionary line can't learn by just levelling up this is what confirms he is really an alpha pokemon! Can you explain this one? How ash's infernape is the most rarest pokemon in anime holding an ancient power and this power could not just match but surpass even phenomena like bond or mega evolution because as i said earlier alpha pokemons never stay in same power level
