small tip: Canon Cameras come with a software programm called 'EOS Utility', where you can connect your camera to your PC. With the live view option, you can see what would be in frame of your camera right that monent and you can easily adjust the brightness, zoom, etc.

I keep hearing word that DSLR cameras can only record for about 10 minutes before turning off for safety, is this true for you? and if it isnt true for you, about how long can you record before it does start to heat up and turn off? I'm a photographer myself so I'm aware of most of this stuff, but it took me years to learn all of this and it's so so impressive that you condensed it into a 10 minute, easy to follow and easy to understand video. HIGHLY recommend a Canon D Mark II or III!! If you are looking into cameras that have versatile lens options, Canon is the way to go. Nikon is awesome too, but generally can only use Nikon based lenses, where Canon usually can use both!

I actually liked how the iPhone looked compared to the other two. It's more of a warm look compared to the others.

If that's the part you like about it that's very easily changed on the higher quality options! All that is, is what's called "white balance" and you can custom set tier 2 and 3 cameras to warmer color temperatures. You cannot control that on the phone though, except in editing after the fact!

i use the clamp light method, and i put wax paper over the front of the light so it gives off a softer light effect.

I got my DSLR camera for only around $530 dollhairs, but that may be because I got the Canon T5 instead of the T5i (The only difference I saw between them is that the T5i has a flip out viewfinder and is over 150 ducks more ) Personally, I love my camera with all of my heart and soul. Anyone looking for a DSLR but doesn't want to spend $1000+ should go for the T5, just know that it does not automatically adjust the focus while filming anything.

Tier 2 might look really nice, but aren't ideal to film with! They're typically for pictures, as many tend to overheat/don't have enough storage for filming a long time.

I really like at the end, she says "there's nothing that says you can only follow one KZbinr at a time, so there's no reason we should feel like we're in competition with each other, so let's lift each other up". I wish more people were this way! Because I've seen/met other content creators that are very fake & not helpful at all. My other concern is, Mykie is very pretty, and I feel like being attractive helps someone grow fast. I've been making videos for KZbin since 2014, I've upgraded in equipment & am working on a well-rounded channel with lots of content, I've PUT money into making videos recently, hoping that I'll eventually make that money back (it's so easy for big creators to put money into a video and not worry how much or IF they're even going to get that money back), and I am growing WAY TOO SLOW..... I am OK looking, and so I think I'm missing something in that aspect for growing.... I am SO PASSIONATE about making making videos for KZbin, I AM SO DETERMINED. I want this to be one of the things I do for a living. But patient, I am not. Life is short & precious and I want to live it to the fullest, and I also really want to help my parents out with money & I don't exactly have 5+ years to wait. I want to be stable and know that I can be in a good living situation. and get a car and get a house, etc. I want to travel the world and be well-known and inspire people and be a good influence. But I feel like I'm not getting that chance because I am just not growing at any good rate AT ALL! And I have all the things she mentioned; Creativity, drive, talent, passion, (again, minus patience), and aside form me being ok looking, what am I missing here?! I still feel like there's this secret to being successful.
