I went to school for hair and it is only slightly true that black hair "feels" healthier. It feels healthier as opposed to bleached hair because black hair fills in your hair in a sense. It does tend to feel less dry because you are depositing color (that's why people who were previously blonde dye their hair black and think its magically repaired) But recommending people to use hair dye - boxed hair dye at that - for the sake of having healthier hair doesn't make sense lol.

I think you might do better with black henna treatments. Henna actually coats and stays on the surface of the hair without entering the cortex and damaging hair. I dyed my hair black before but after months of new growth I could see the difference in texture. I used Bigen. The dye definitely weakened my hair. Try going with henna which actually strengthens hair. PS You are young so you probably don’t know this. Back in the 60s when a lot of these hair dyes became popular and readily available in stores for home use, women using them began seeing their urine come out the same color as the hair dye. The dye was getting into their endocrine system. The FDA forced manufacturers to change the strength of these dyes for this reason. Just recently, a young coworker of mine in her early 20s was diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of cancer. This young woman dyed her hair all kinds of crazy colors (green, purple, red, blond, etc). Coincidence ? I don’t think so. Perms and relaxers also have the potential to enter the bloodstream through the skin. Prolonged use causes dents in the skull seen in autopsies. Attempts to reduce the strength of these chemicals have been opposed by hairdressers and makers of such products lobbying against against any changes which would affect their businesses. Take caution young lady. ❤️🙏
@kole63715 жыл бұрын
:-) oh!! that's how I got that dent in the top of my head! Bcuz I know it wasn't there during my childhood years. Well fortunately for me I stopped using processing chemicals a long time ago.

49jubilee The skin is part of your lymphatic system which exists to eliminate toxins from the blood. It’s a drainage system. When you put tattoo ink into your skin, your are damaging your lymphatic system, clogging it with ink, hindering your skins ability to eliminate wastes/toxins from your body. Therefore, wastes/toxins remain in the bloodstream and in the body. Later you may have problems, such as cancer, etc related to immune problems. In other words, by getting a tattoo, you are putting great stress on your immune system to cope with wastes/toxins that should be eliminated. Not a wise move.
@rozchristopherson6485 жыл бұрын
Julia Lia It is really the strong chemicals found in lye and no-lye relaxers used to straighten African kinky hair textures which is so caustic and dangerous. Perms/relaxers for Caucasian or Asian hair are weaker, less caustic. Many people are ill from these chemicals. When someone goes to the doctor and is diagnosed with cancer, lupus, diabetes, or a host of other diseases related to the immune system, the doctor is not going to sit there and retrace every step you’ve taken in life, every food you’ve eaten, every product you’ve used. The doctor is simply going to put you on a protocol of medication, chemotherapy, radiation, etc. So it is really up to us to look out for ourselves and stay informed. Don’t be so trusting of all these companies who just want to make a profit when we buy their products. Also, don’t trust that the FDA, etc has eliminated all danger or risks from your food, etc. They have not.

@rozchristopherson6485 жыл бұрын
PS I also wanted to add that black hair dye which is permanent does NOT just coat the hair as you say in this video. Only semi-permanent hair dye or hennas simply coat the hair and will wash off over time, not changing the chemical/physical structure of the hair. Permanent hair dye which is darker still goes into the cortex of the hair shaft and deposits color there. The only difference with darker versus lighter colors of permanent hair dye is that to lighten your hair color, there must first be a bleaching process to remove color from the hair (natural or previously dyed hair color), then the process of depositing the lighter dye color into the hair’s cortex. This bleaching process is why dyeing hair a lighter color is so risky and damaging. However, as I have stated, even black or other darker permanent hair dyes will change the cortex of your hair, thereby weakening it.

Dark hair gives an illusion. It looks less defined as lighter hair so it looks thicker and healthy even when it’s not. All dye coats strands to add pigment so black dye can do the same as blue or even pink or anything else in that regard. Its not so much beneficial as far as health but it’s a cute look and it looks nice on you.

thats good. you have to listen to your hair and not over process it. coloring, even black, too often can have negative effects. i only dye when i see significant lightening but i dont have grays yet so its less often to the point that its still beneficially and not damaging.
@PanickedPluto5 жыл бұрын
Dying it doesn’t make it healthier. The dye just fills in the groves of your hair and fills were missing proteins should be. So the dye just coats the hair and make air appear healthier and more shiny. The hair itself tho will get damaged from the dye. Once the dye fades the natural hair will show again and not look as healthy because it’s not. You’d have to dye your hair for the rest of your life to make it appear healthier. But at the end of the day it isn’t improving the health of your hair. Plus that coating on your hair makes it harder to absorb moisture into your hair. Also if you continue to use black box dye for years and years your hair is gonna start to show the damage. I don’t recommend.

There have been a lot of reports of allergic reactions to the skin of people who have used Bigen so I specifically stay away from that brand.

If you condition and care for your hair, it darkens naturally. 🤔

please explain how
@politereminder62845 жыл бұрын
@@GlamCammHair Certain conditioners add nourishment to the hair and deepen colour.. Things like avocado and avocado oil, ghee, etc, these add nutrients which deepen the hair color. I have dull brownish orange hair, but if I care for it, ( deep condition, add real protein treatments like wheat and soy protein ( try VO5 Hot oil)) such things gradually darken my hair until it is nearly black. When I lay off the treatments, don't moisturize, don't seal in moisture, my hair color fades to brown and beyond. If I stick to a strict LOC/LCO method of maintaining hair moisture, my hair darkens.. Maybe it has to do with nutrient drain from fibres, maybe something to do with maintaining the outer layer of scales on the hair shaft and thus maintaining pigment. Not sure of the science, but _Very_ sure of the results.

No, it doesn't. It depends on your gene

@@TamyTee Unless you are an albino and therefore have zero melanin, all hair darkens a bit with proper care and nourishment ( and sometimes with age and improved health). Even the blondest blondes get darker in the winter when their hair gets a reprieve from sun damage. Anybody can benefit from the darkening effects of a good oil regimen. It is subtle, but noticeable. It's okay if you choose to dye for a more dramatic effect, that is your choice. but that doesn't negate my point that hair darkens with proper treatment.

God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to save us from sin! Remember that the Lord loves you! Confess Jesus is Lord! Confess your sins to God, forgive others, repent and be saved: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 KJV
