@Elizabeth, I have Lupus ,Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and I worked with chemicals that caused other severe issues and I was in my mid 20's and if I went to any of my doctors appointments wearing makeup almost every one of them would comment that I couldn't be in much pain if I looked that good/ was wearing makeup. It is a more common way of treating patients than people realize.

You can make your own tinted moisturizer by mixing a small amount of foundation to your regular moisturizer or add foundation to sunscreen to make bb cream. However, it will still be makeup, and will still need to removed at night as sunscreen and tints are still minerals and chemicals that won’t let the skin breath fully.

Gabi this really resonated with me. I am of Italian descent so I have been waxing my upper lip since I’m 11 yep 11. Greatest day of my young life when my mom took me to the salon to get that done. Not to mention the fabulous hereditary dark circles (thank you dad lol) I have always felt so self conscious to be seen without makeup I wouldn’t even go to the mailbox at the end of my driveway without makeup isn’t that crazy! We put so much pressure on ourselves as young girls and then as women. You are stunning without a drop of any makeup beautiful inside and out! Loved all these tips! Have a blessed weekend!

I completely relate to this. I have huge dark circles too (that have gotten a little better lately). My mom taught me to shave my legs when I was a kid and I will never forget that moment sitting on the side of the tub with her. I was so sad because the kids at school mentioned it when I was wearing shorts. We are lucky to have such beautiful and kind mothers to pave our way as young women. I just want to tell you that you are BEAUTIFUL too (even if you don't always feel it). Being kind, warm and having a smile is much more attractive than having perfect makeup on everyday.

I’ve found that if you have a problem with oily and uneven skin, tone with a gentle astringent, put on a non-greasy lotion (gel based works well), and use a matte face primer. It helps to overall clean, even out, and blur any skin problems without putting any makeup on. I do that a lot bc makeup in general really irritates my skin, but this helps a lot with blemishes and oil.

I just found your channel and subbed. I love your overall opproach. If we can take the focus off trying to look younger, and instead just be and look joyfilled, that's the real beauty there. And that doesn't come with youth or with age, but with an attitude approach. P.s. like you I dont have a lot of facial hair, but as I get older a few are getting darker. I had been going for waxes and always liked that my hair grows in fine, or I can't feel it. Then I saw articles that say waxing affects the new growth so it tells the hair to grow in darker and stronger. But after a wax on my legs it always gre in finer, and less of it, so I was so confused and got a dermaplane razor by Schick. If I push my tongue under the lip it gives the area solidity to use the razor. But, the grow in feels rough and now I'm always using my tongue to feel how how rough the upper lip hair is. 😐 My question is do you know of any electronic hair removal devises that work? There are a lot in the market, and some are really pricey, so I don't want to be spending money on thi gs that don't work well, and then having the tricky business of trying to do online returns. So I wondered if you have any research on hair removal electronic devises? Thanks.

Other very effective tips: invest in eyelash growth serum,(if your eyebrows are too thin then you should use eyebrow serum and be applying kohl it makes eyes more beautiful and stronger and healthy and steam your face three times a day(it tightens skin and promotes glassy glowing skin and has anti-aging properties and clears skin) steaming is also good for your hair before washing apply oils or your hair treatment on scalp and hair comb then steam hair for 30-40 minutes then apply conditioner then shampoo scalp and hair then comb let shampoo sit for 2-3 minutes then rinse and shampoo again. Also invest in chemical free cosmetics.

I used hairspray on my brows for years! I wear makeup 2 to 3 times a week. Non-makeup days I do my usual skin care routine and put on some lipstick. Otherwise my lips disappear. I have a well defined lip line but not much natural color and a small mouth. Lipstick makes a world of difference as it also adds just enough pop of color that my complexion and eyes come alive.

As I was thinking about how I needed a tinted moisturizer now… Lol… It dawned on me, but I could just take my regular moisturizer and mix a tiny little bit of my foundation into it :-) and as for the under eye Breitner, I could take a little bit of moisturizer and add in some low key highlighter. What do you think? Would this work as a hack? Love all of the tips, however I would add in eyelash gel/clear mascara :-) and I totally agree with the earrings and the perfume. thanks!

Hi Gabi, this video is such a great idea! Sometimes I feel like it’s all or nothing with makeup and being put together, but you gave some great tips and suggestions. You might want to check the link you provided for the Benefit lip balm…it probably needs to be clarified a bit.😊

Here I am watching with a full body of freckles, being Scottish with blonde hair. Super dry skin (Ive had my whole life) and Im 48. With rosacea scattered on my face and skin and undereye tiredness. Ive done it all and i look so much better with makeup. I even do all of this in the video. I even have a USB powered heated eyelash curler. I have super thin hair and wear extensions. Not everyone, nor should any woman feel bad about doing all I listed. If you feel better after all this, do it! Who cares :)

Hey ladies! It is a long blunt bob. It is a very boring haircut. It is just all one length, not texturized and unlayered.

I tend to fit in time to wash my hair, style my hair or put on makeup but they hardly every happen on the same day. This morning I was chased out of the shower by my screaming children before I was able to finish shaving my legs and a few days ago, I was putting on makeup while walking my youngest to the bus stop.

I cannot wax my upper lip anymore. It started ripping the skin, which is getting thinner and more delicate as I age. I now have to tweeze them. Also, after years of waxing my brows, they no longer grow outside my brow line. Bonus, I guess.

Retinol is AMAZING. My skin went crazy the first two weeks. I got some cystic acne and a lot of flaking but then my skin transformed into super gorgeous skin and I’ve never looked back. I use it every three days or so at nighttime.

I've used for 6 years, I believe it's helped my previous rosacea(redness)& hopefully wrinkles. I buy Adapalene gel without a prescription. Takes getting used to, using Cerave & being consistent. I'm 62.
