Incredible tune when it's 12 pm, on a summer night, light fresh rain with a durry in your hand.

I dig the vibe. Though I haven't heard this song before, the band sounds familiar. What genre would you guys consider this to be? I've always struggled trying to label unconventional bands such as this. Here's something in a similar vein (super chill music): Tones On Tail - You, the Night and the Music (cool instrumental) or Lions. Tones On Tail is essentially Daniel Ash who was formally with the band called Love and Rockets.

Honestly, not sure...I'd probably put them in Indie-Pop. But they definitely have a unique sound. -jp

The vibes this song gives me: You're in a casino/hotel, all the staff has this snake-like vibe to them. You are being hypnotized by the owner as he sings this song. (Why did i write this?)

Man it's so wild hearing everyone's opinion in the comments lmaoo I love psychedelic songs, and listen to them a LOT, not like that I guess,, I particularly love the genre? But songs like this (Some other artists I listen to along them in my playlist: Lorn, Chelou, Yaeji, DWIG?) always gets me into a calm near empty mind state and the experience is something I really enjoy.

Steam Powered Giraffe - Automatonic Electronics Harmonics (steam punk musical comedy) 4. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Wet Sand (you already knows) 5. Thomas Giles - Sleep Shake (solo project from vocalist of Between the Buried and Me) 6. Weezer - The Greastest Man That Ever Lived (a theme song for both of you :D) 7. Death Cab For Cutie - Soul Meets Body (alt rock) 8. JUSTICE - Fire (electronic duo) 9. Snarky Puppy - Shofukan (YOU'RE WELCOME) 10. Something With Numbers - Twisted (rock)

You should listen to the How to be a Human Being album, I personally really like Pork Soda, Youth, and Season 2 Episode 3. I also like alt-J’s deadcrush, Breezeblocks, and Leon. Doja Cat is pretty cool too, she has Juicy (colors show version) Freak, and Nintendhoe. Nice video!

Doja Cat can't be done on a clean channel, I think. By the way, check out her Nardwuar interview.

sometimes with glass animals you can't take the lyrics seriously. they are almost just another melody to add to the music

It was alright, but felt like one wash and lacking something. Then you played the stripped-down(??) version and that is so much better! I'd listen to that one, again. The more chill tracks by Kimbra could go in the same direction as this. As for the cover and the band name, they invoke Animal Collective.

I liked the slow groove and pace of the song. My only problem with the song was it felt repetitive, just not enough variation in the song musically and vocally. I suppose that was the intent for the song to move like a sloth and feel lazy and carefree I'm at 3.0
@FHL-Devils3 жыл бұрын
I'm sure you've already been told this, and maybe you remove the comments for fear of KZbin censors.... But listen to the song coming from the perspective of heroin, and the lyrics, instrumentation and pacing all makes a lot more sense.

I like this tune, but I'm not really crazy about it. It had some interesting sounds, like the main riff, and the vocals were nice. But I'd have to be in a certain mood to listen to this. The song's just not strong enough to pull me in its mood. Score 3.3 on a downward slope.
