Grey Ombre Nails | Kirsty Does Her Own Nails

Hi everybody
Today we’re doing the other hand with a gorgeous grey powder that I’ve been wanting to use for ages with an ombre.
I’m going to start by putting my tips on and then file the edges to straighten the side walls. I’ll then remove the shine from the nail and blend the contact point. I’m then going to prep the nail and start at the end with Charcoal Grey. Blend the edge down the nail to create a fade. I’m then going to use Rose Glow at the cuticle area and blend down and over the grey. I’m using Natural to increase the blend. I’ll do my normal filing routine over all the nails.
I’m going to use Acrygel and Urban Graffiti Ultra Matte Top Coat to add my bling. I’ll finish with cuticle oil.

These are *lovely!* I generally don't like ombres in which the tip is dark and the base is light, especially pink. Usually it reminds me of dirty nails. I can't help it, that's just how it looks to me. But not this ombre, even though it is a soft pink nail bed with dark gray tips-- _the_ classic dirty nails look. And yet, the fade is so perfect that it doesn't give me the heebie-jeebies. I can hardly wait to see what goes on the other three nails!

I am in nail school and the things that they teach in nail school don’t even compare to what you teach and I love the way that you teach and I love the way that you go step-by-step I really appreciate you for these videos they are very informative and I love to learn from you it’s so hard being in their school and the nurse school that I am at they don’t supply us with all of our supplies that we need and it’s very very hard to come by on him acrylic powders and things like that and implements and everything when I am a single mother of five kids with no job but I am putting myself through school and not very much information is given to us on how toDo designs and do ombres and everything like that so I really really appreciate you you are truly a blessing in my journey through nail school

I learn a lot from watching your videos. Very much love watching your channel. I've recently gotten an ombre done and it was not done the way you do yours, there is a harsh line and was not capped at all so the nail tech lady drilled into the ombre so I don't like what I have gotten. It is hard to find a nail salon that can give me what i ask for and do it properly and this nail salon I went to is popular but all they specialize in is just gel polish over acrylic. I wish I could get a set done by you just to have a beautiful set for once in my life lol.

Have you tried to ask for an ombre done with the gel polish? If the nail salon specializes in the gel polish, they should be able to create this design for you 😊
