I pick the Flowmaster. The thing about glass packs are that they will get louder as the fiberglass material burns out. In a few months it will sound like a muffler delete. The Flowmaster the sound the same through the life of the muffler.

@@md_randoms2429 if cost is a problem, they sell FlowMaster clone race mufflers on Amazon. Had 2 on my Grand Marquis, they were like $60 for a pair.

I've had Flowmaster before, and their welds broke. I doubt they are as good off road.

I think that was from the metal shavings burning off in the tailpipe. I've had cars that would shoot flames with free flowing exhaust under wide open throttle and running rich but not just from a muffler change alone

forget both those, go SLP. I run the bullet style stainless flow through. 3" in 3" out housing is maybe 4-5" dia nice and small, easy to fit anywhere under the trucks.

Magnaflow makes high flow cats that aren't super expensive. Even with a stock exhaust you should get a little deeper tone.

@@exhaustaddicts Is there a way to quiet down the glass pack a little without having to replace everything? I had glass packs put on last summer and they are louder than I want but don`t have the money now to put Flowmasters on.

You can simply reverse the direction of the glass pack, where the fins are open toward the the direction of the exhaust flows. This should significantly lower the volume.

Nothing wrong with Flowmasters but as a child of the late 70s glass packs were always cool! Besides that the red one with the glass packs appears to belong to a brother Mason so 👍
