Bought a 5 L oxygen concentrator for $200 and then a guy gave away a home full unit I had my dad pick up for free and it’s supposed to work so with a little plumbing I can have that set up! Just finished building my shed for my studio, now I need flooring and build a bench, got a piece of backer board for the wall and a boxed blower from a furnace for ventilation! I’m almost there! I’ll email you some pictures when I get done

My mother uses oxygen. They call use once a year and we send them our system to recertify. I asked what their process was and they send it to have it checked for leaks. From Alaska to Seattle it's 400 shipping for one. I was able to purchase a system from them for 250 dollars. I have the homefill II system. Concentrator and compressor. They save money by taking the decommissioned ones and sell them for about 50 bucks to a recycler, who ships them to be rebuilt.

@@FusingShop I am still getting things set up. I have a really nice Southbend Lathe and I am restoring a 200 year old pedal powered converted to electric lathe. I have a Burke Number 4 milling machine I just found. I also just picked up a drill press sensitive tapping station that was used for planes in the 40's and 50's.I will be set up to make almost anything when I am finished but I have a bunch of parts I need to make out of cast aluminum so I am building a foundry. I decided that I am going to build a 30 liter oxygen machine to fuel my torches. If it goes well then I believe I am going to build my own series of oxygen concentrators to go with the surface mix torches I have been making for friends who blow glass and who left to go to California. A little over 18 months ago I was hit and wrapped around a tree by a guy in a F350 while riding to work on my 1957 Harley Panhead. It has been a long road back to walking because my right leg was nearly cut in two. I fought and was able to keep it and my circulation has just returned fully. I decided I want to do something that makes me happy instead of working in my chosen field of chemical engineering in Big Pharma. I do not want to work for anyone any more. If you look up 1928 Morgan RIP killer you will see the one existing machine that was built to look like an airplane and also give the feel of flying while driving. It has aircraft cloth as the shell and I am using an opposed twin engine as the power plant on the front connected to an MG transmission with a hand cast 2 piece adapter . That is what I ma building the foundry to cast. A couple people want me to make bulletproof gears for racing and pulling tractors so I can cast them as well. I have a lot on my plate. Hi - greeting from Cologne, Germany! For my amateur-beadmaking I used one of those huge, man-sized blue "oxygene-tanks", but since I do not sell nothing, 100 Dollar per bottle is too much to pay. I bought an oxygene-generator today. Used for 125 bucks with 250 hours running time. I use the minor bench-burner for beadmaking, in case you know this tool: Turns out my "generator" does 5 litre/minute. Is that enough for decent beadmaking? Only today - after the delivery of mine (came today) - I found out that generators exist that do 10 liters/min. Guess that had been the better choice. Too late now. Are 5 liters enough or should (and could) I buy a second machine making 5 liters, in order to have a total of 10? Would be great to get your answer!

I would check for air leaks first. Take some soapy water and spray all the brass tubing to see if anything is leaking. The next step I would take is to see if you're getting air through the first piston/valve. Simply remove the brass fitting and see if air is coming out. Keep in mind I am not certified to work on or give advice on these machines. Good luck, they are a pain sometimes.

Hey Scuba! Welcome to the Fusing Shop community. If you don't feel any air coming out of your whip then one of the check valves is not working. You can try this trick from this video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmfXXpuMh9abeNE, to see if that will get you up and running. If that doesn't work, you need to detach the thin copper tubes for each check valve to find out which one is the problem.
