I had a terrible night. I made mistakes I can’t take back. I cried so hard, the next night I cry my eyes out singing with Glasvegas in the front row. James gives me a hug and I tell him how much that night meant to me. He kissed me on my sweaty forehead saying “thank you brotha, I love ya” Jonna took my hand and brought me to her kit and she gave me a smooch asked if I wanted anything signed. I told Rab my admiration for his sound and how to recreate it. He told me all the tricks and pedals he uses and I wrote them down. They let me sit at their tables for a moment, had a drink and laughed away the sadness. I never expected such a moment from a band I grew from a kid to an adult with. Later I after talking to family, I found out how much Scottish blood I had. Maybe we could smell it in eachother but man I love Glasvegas for the whole and sum of their parts.

Oh, oh, how you are my hero Oh oh, how your never here though Remember times when you put me on your shoulders How I wish it was forever you would hold us Right now I'm too young to know How in the future it will affect me when you go You could have had it all You, me, and mum you know Anything was possible I wont be the lonely one Sitting on my own and sad A fifty year old Reminiscing what I had I wont be the lonely one Sitting on my own and sad Forget your dad, he's gone All I wanted was a kick-a-bout in the park For you to race me home when it was nearly getting dark How I could've been yours, and you be mine It could've been me and you until the end of time Do what you want, when you want Be as fucking insincere as you can What kind of way is that to treat your wife To see your son on Saturdays What way is that to live your life? I wont be the lonely one Sitting on my own and sad A fifty year old Reminiscing what I had I wont be the lonely one Sitting on my own and sad Forget your dad, he's gone.

My dad wasn't the most emotionally present guy but he was always there when I needed him. I know others aren't so lucky but they make it through and they learn how to be a good dad because their father's showed them how to a bad one. Love this song/Love Glasvegas. #manclad/sottishma

Cause Glasvegas were just a gimmicky indie-band from Scotland. 1 or 2 good songs from their debut. And their music's fucking depressing, least Daft Punk's uplifting !!!
