GLAZING A FRUIT BOWL WITH ANCIENT COPPER, BLUE RUTILE, PURPLE CRYSTAL AND HONEY FLUX

This video is on how I glazed a fruit bowl out of a reclaimed clay. It is another glaze combination that I really love.

It's so beautirul! On the back side of the bowl, you added ancient copper and honey flux but skipped adding blue rutile and purple crystal. But the finished bowl shows blue rutile and purple crystal. why? I am trying to follow this glaze orders on my bisque bowl. Help!!

sorry about that, I guess I did not show fully how I glazed the back side. I did add the blue rutile and purple crystal on the back in same manner on how i added inside the bowl. The only difference is I added the ancient copper at the bottom to catch the glaze as the honey flux combo is so runny as you can see how far the purple crystal ran inside the bowl.

Beautiful piece!!! I’ve wanted to try the purple crystal - have you used it by itself? Curious how it is!

thanks, I tried purple crystal on its own and really did not like it, maybe good on other clay.
