Although the perfection of glulam beams is great I think they loose a lot of character, was a nice oak beam not a option ? Also have you taped those joints on the roof sheathing ? not seen that before. Looking forward to the next vid in the series.

Hi in answer to your question about taping the roof sheathing, it is actually a blue counter batten that is supporting the joints, i got a price on the oak glulam but it was 3 times the price of the standard material!! I'm only a chippy!!

I have the paslode straight and angled nailers they are reliable and lightweight, you can't go wrong with either in my opinion!

Go to your tool shop and ask them whats the best deal? I like the straight nailer best!!! why not call Paslode directly as they will come to site and demo both of them for you!!!!!
