Well, the New Directions found it was going to be her last performance right before taking the stage....so yeah, given how much they usually “prep” for a competition, I am kind of shocked they didn’t come up with 3 new songs on the spot. That wasn’t sarcasm, they don’t prepare for competitions. But in reality, the same was probably true: by the time Heather Morris told them she was pregnant and would be leaving the show, the songs were probably already chosen.
