The kind that Sue Sylvester draws as enemies instead of the ones she hunts for (people she can bully), as well as - frankly - the kind she courts as supporters. “I haven’t even told my parents yet” THAT’S WHY FINN SHOULD HAVE NOT OUT HER. she wasn’t ready, a few insults that can ruin someone’s day is nothing compared to let people find out who you are when you’re not ready yet. when santana slapped Finn she said “not just the school, you idiot, everyone” she was talking about her family and how that whole situation messed up her life. Outing someone is wrong always. That being said, in the context of the show, Santana was a bully. To everyone. But especially to Finn. And she even threatened to Out Dave so that she could be Prom Queen. And she said it loudly in a public area as well. The only difference is that no one there had a reason to out Dave if they overheard that conversation... She clearly had no problem with outing people and being a total bitch. But the second someone was mean to her back or outed her (something the commercial did) she just... couldn't take what she so willingly dished out.

@DeeL36 жыл бұрын
Exactly!!! People would say "Oooooh I'm glad Finn gave Santana a taste of her own medicine, she got what she deserved!" Umm actually, no she did not get what she deserved. Finn completely crossed the line and then the writers tried to make up for it by having him sing some slow version of Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun. He was still in wrong. Santana has said plenty of terrible things throughout the show and she's crossed the line, but for Finn to tell other people a secret that was not his to tell. . . that is not giving someone a taste of their own medicine, that's just forcing someone to come to terms with something that they're not ready for.

she was outed by Finn (basically Finn mentioned her liking Brittany in the middle of the hallway loud enough for other people to hear) in the hallway surrounded by lots of homophobic kids, which I’m sure he would have been aware of. Parents have disowned their children for being gay - Santana’s grandmother didn’t accept it either, and we don’t know what her parents beliefs are. Her being outed also means she didn’t get a chance to tell her family and some of her friends when she wanted to herself. Sorry I’m bad at explaining but I hope it helps.

So this is why Santana slaps Finn after the "Rumor has it / Someone like you" song

Dang. That was uncalled for. For any adult who does that to a person, especially a minor. That person is evil

What Finn did was definitely uncalled for especially given how scared Santana was. But a politician putting a student in the line of fire like that to boost their agenda is crossing the line even more.

I’m pretty sure Santana could sue that guy for libel.

I think it's really important to tell Santana that she has supportive people by her side

Okay, so everyone is upset that Finn outed Santana and never got punished for it. But...are you forgetting that Santana almost did the same thing to Karofsky? During her fight to be prom queen, she threatened to out David if he didn't help her, and she put him through a ton of stress. And other than losing the crown to Kurt, she was never really punished for it. Not condoning anyone's actions, just pointing it out.

If I were Burt I would've confronted Finn about outting a student in a school riddled with the same homophobic kids that caused Kurt to transfer.

Guess what I find weird Finn may of outed Santana as well as sue but Rachel supported Santana all the way through even though Santana was mean to Rachel she even defended Santana in the performance I kissed a girl, the funny thing is Rachel did that performance in front of Shelby so it proves she will support Santana no matter who is watching so Finn may of outed her but Rachel supported her I am glad they ended up friends in the end.
