Glen just happened to come along with her and then Tom asked him to be on it with her and then Glen did most of the talking as usual. Tanya was meant to take front stage. Glen could not handle that. Is that what happened to Kasem? Not surprised, and I guess a lesson to all to try and set up as much of that as you can, in advance.

Jmichael Isbell that is so SAD how can anybody do that to kids?? It's heartbreaking cruel, mean and abuse
@donnaleeclubb1197 жыл бұрын
Jmichael Isbell It's a shame the current family can be so selfish with him. Those children are his biological children that he probably had a relationship with. This is life and death, permanent. They should have all done the right thing. No court should have had to rule for them to put this man first.

Being an Asian-Indian guy, I understand the need of having someone who shares your ethnic background. It makes it easier to flow along intuitively without fear of hurting someone's feelings. But it can also be volatile because of each other's familiarity which can lead to distrust and paranoia. Then add coke and alcohol to the mix.

Cocaine and alcohol abuse. They both indulged and what can you expect from that crazed state it puts people in? Too much intensity between them and all mixed with a real love for one another. Things happen like that.

Hard to understand why so many of the unbelievably talented musicians were such jack asses in life. Glen, Paul Simon, John Lennon, Henley & Frye, Billy Joel, John Denver, Mellenkamp. Etc, etc. Natural, God given talent that gave them the world on a string, yet some deep inner anger festered & they could NOT be happy. How could you write & sing love songs... and then KNOCK A WOMANS TEETH OUT? Any woman, much less one you've loved! Go figure...

Later years, when Glen was on Larry King, King mentioned how much in love Glen and Tanya were but Glen said "Well I wouldn't call it love"... In this interview he also says something about liking Tanya but not loving her. She then stares him down after that comment. These two were a co-dependant train wreck fueled on cocaine. Love both of them artistically but they sure do seem like they're acting all nice and giddy a bit in this interview.

The age difference was just to much to make a relationship work, even though had simular interests. You can see that Tanya's is just learning about life and what she wants out of it, not Glens ideal of life.
