Hi Mark, a throughly good, well explained and interesting to watch video 👍.At least Glenfafclas are still family owned and haven’t sold their soul to the giant conglomerates, respect. Decent whisky at good price’s as well. When possible would love to see more of these videos 👍💪🥃.Slàinte Mhath Mark

Hi David, glad you like the video! Really appreciate you taking the time to comment to. It's interesting to see how whisky is becoming such big business now isn't it - who knows what it will look like in 5 years time!

Hi Mark, Great history session. I actually just finished the Glenfarclas tour and the 3000 miles of driving through the UK, mostly Scotland. I always enjoy your presentations. Very well researched.

Very informative and enjoyable video. I love the history behind the bottles as well as the distilleries themselves, so I'm really enjoying these videos of yours. Would love to see a similar video on Glendronach and/or Edradour. Thanks 🙏👍

50,000 casks is an amazing sum. I wish I enjoyed Glenfarclas more than I do. Everything about Glenfarclas sounds good but I do wonder about the quality of their casks for the core range. I'm never going to buy the super expensive stuff they do and I wish they would use that in their blending of the core range because I think it needs improving. I was recently given a bottle of the 25 year and although it was enjoyable I would never have guest its age in a blind tasting. It tasted half its age. I've had that experience with a few of their bottlings as well and I can only conclude it's down to the casks. It's fair to assume they're quite reused. I was very sorry to hear about the break in and burglary of the distillery this week. My heart goes out to the company and most of all to the workers at the distillery. I understand that the scumbags responsible knew exactly what they were looking for and targeted the old stock. Cheers Mark. Good video. WT

I'm in the US and am really enjoying your videos Mark. I have a call booked with someone in your office next week to discuss purchasing a cask. I'm considering it as a purchase for my son (age 7) to give him when he marries or purchases his first house. Hopefully it will have matured enough to give him a decent amount. Thank you for helping me learn this.

Went there last summer, the distillery is a 5-stars venue. Nice video! I would probably ask for Balvenie for the next video.
