Glenn Beck and the advertisers, if you think these advertisers are unamerican you are wrong, they ARE american, they are doing exactly what our country is founded upon....remember what the advertisers did to Rosie Odonnell, you didnt complain then...I hate Rosie, but what happened to her was american and what is happening to Glenn Beck is JUST as American!

You are right. The people in power (not the government) are controlling this debate. They are definitely keeping us divided on stupid issues. And the mudslinging makes it even harder to get a genuine point across to the other side.

"Boycott, not demagogue." Says it all. Personally, unless a company does something blatantly anti American, I'm going to keep buying. Like when Starbucks wouldn't send coffee to the troops. I boycotted them for that. But, as far as just dropping ads, that is American.

In truth I see no difference in these actions. Those going against the advertizer of Glen Beck are in fact saying to the advertizers that they like the show and they would support a company that supports the show. This is done to keep it on the air. The opposite should be done if you don't like a show. It is a still a act of freedom of speech as that view can be spoken. The companies have a right to ignore those voices if they wish based on what they feel is best for their company.
