Sunday mornings in NZ in the early 80s often included Brian Moore and Match of the Day, which meant that Tottenham and Glenn Hoddle would be playing their blindingly entertaining and revolutionary soccer. He was my favorite player then and I've been a Tottenham fan ever since. Thanks for the compilation.

I well remember every year that Man Utd were going to ' get their man' ! Not this time !!! The volleys against Shilton & even better one against Utd. The turn & chip against Watford . My favourite English footballer by far. Unreal talent. And...... I'm Arsenal, true but he was brilliant, we had Brady who was amazing but truthfully speaking he wasvnot in the same league as Hoddle. I know a bit too, was in the Arsenal Youth team in 84. I was a left winger when KC RIP scored 60 goals in 1 season in the youth team.
