This was one of my great-grandpa's favorite songs. He was the most sweetest and most humble man I ever knew. He fought in WWII and liberated the Nazi concentration camp known as Wobbelein. He loved me so much and I love him so much. R.I.P. Robert Anderson 1926-2017

This is a very good quality recording! Cleaned up, no scratchy needle on vinyl sound. Limited bass response but that is the quality of the technology of that era. My dad loved Glenn Miller and I have acquired his taste for it and many other Big Bands of the 1940s

Was introduced to this classic in college back in the fall of 1974. Our jazz band, which I played lead trumpet in, toured the islands (Hawaii) playing this song at local high schools. The kids loved it! Want to thank the late, great Dr. Richard " Cat " Ballou, our music director at BYU-HAWAII campus for his guidance and support through those years. Deeply appreciated his efforts in making that program prolific! R.I.P. Mr. B.

I would love this played at my wedding.. it’s timeless. My partner and I share a fascination for all kinds of music and WW2. My grandparents (grandpa especially) were involved in the horrors of nazi occupation and this was one of my grandpas favourite records. It’s in honor of them ❤

One of the saddest things about this song is that the popularity and the famous name of “Glenn Miller” is fading away from being known. I am the only one in my school who evens knows Glenn Miller,besides from my teachers. May this era of music continue to remain and be enjoyed for years to come.
