These kids are great! I grew up listening to Glenn Miller because my dad was such a great dancer. He taught me how to swing dance when I was about 9 or 10, and I still love to dance!

Very happy to see these very young people playing a Glenn Miller arrangement the way it should be played, I can bet you that these musicians not only practiced the music they also listened to and studied the original recording. It's the only way to successfully play big band music you must study the recordings. When it comes to playing big band swing or jazz the notes on the paper are only half the story. Thanks great job!

Mám rád swing, Big Band a ragtime. Po okupaci Československa v roce 1968, se to přestalo hrát. Později začaly LP s nahrákami starých záznamů. Glenn Miller proto znám.

I do not usually reply to comments .But, picture a NIGHT shoot.... at a STREET FESTIVAL with upwards of 10,000 people moving past the tripod over the course of the shoot of a 45 minute set...with very little ambient light....I was trying to use the music stand lighting as best that I was able....I was not shooting any particular musician...but, I had to set up 45 minutes BEFORE the set started to prevent any of those 10,000 people from walking in FRONT of the camera.For all of the hostile conditions that were presented, it will have to do.No, I have no daughter in this band.By the way, these musicians are high school students for the most part.
