Even slip inside.. evades opponent's jab as well.. not only the cross.

On the first combo you emphasize on turning your hips and extending the trainer's backhand cross, yet when you do the combo in full speed you don't turn your hips and extend the slipped straight at all. Good combo tho, just a little mix message.

thx for the feedback, when working for speed rotation does tend to get compromised a bit

That first one is the upper cut meant to be under the arm pit because when he slips you your body is very open
@GlennHolmesLA2 жыл бұрын
on this vid it’s a lead uppercut to the head but a body shot there would definitely work too

I would like to know the difference between a lead upper cut and lead hook to body . I am not able to understand how they are different technically ?!
@GlennHolmesLA Жыл бұрын
different targets, so lead hook to the body, lands by the ribcage, a lead uppercut would land on the chin, so they are thrown at different angles with slight different techniques
@ankitbiswas8380 Жыл бұрын
@@GlennHolmesLA thank you for your response . the lead upper cut landing on the chin makes complete sense and so is the hook to body by the ribcage . What I specifically was confused about was the angles used in body hook and upper cut looks same to me ... or is it not ? Should the upper cut be swinging in a bottom-up approach and the body hook be swinging from more like 45 degree angle ?
@vanyavanya-bo4js3 ай бұрын
@@ankitbiswas8380 "hook to the body" sounds confusing for me too, because there are several types of body punches and they are not the same technically
