I'm old enough to remember those clamp-on roller skates. It was very important to be able to run fast enough to avoid a face-plant after one of the clamps detached itself from one's shoe. Subsequent to such detachments, and for self-preservation, it was always a good plan to find something else to do.

I’m going to talk for a lot of crafters out there who I’ve heard feel the same way I do. When resellers find something super cool, but put it back on the shelf because it has a bit of a missing part or chip, such as the really neat bird that you found with a bit of the beak chipped off… Think about buying it, because people like me will buy that and we will use hardening clay to fix and paint match that beak perfectly so you won’t be able to tell it was ever broken. It just breaks my heart when resellers leave things so wonderful and unique on the shelf because there’s a tiny chip or crack. Even with wood. Minor cracks are very easy to fill and fix. I don’t know if that’s something you would want to think about but maybe take a chance once in a while and find out how many people would actually buy something that was slightly damaged. There are a lot of super crafty people these days. Crafty and innovative! I would have no problem fixing something myself that I would love to have and cherish. I’ve been itching to say that for so long now. Lol 😁

I do arts and crafts as well but I don’t expect a reseller who deals in other categories to buy stuff to sell to me. I can easily source my own project pieces. You have to remember she has a living to make and broken crafty pieces aren’t the best money makers. Other people have suggested this but I think it doesn’t interest her and that’s fine.
@lonestar437411 ай бұрын
She actually does get pieces like that quite abit though :) I feel like much more then Most!! But I think your input's also nice to know as well! :)

@@lonestar4374 I find your view very interesting. This is not an argument. I think that you and I must see totally different things. While she’s not opposed to picking up items with chips or flea bites when it doesn’t effect the value or detract from the beauty of the piece, I don’t see her strictly pick up broken pieces to sell for crafters. With that said, I actually purchased a bundle of small figurines from one of her shop the shop sales that had dings. These were pieces from baggies she had bought and sold the perfect pieces but had these leftover. I was thrilled to purchase these and give them home and a purpose. I don’t see her do this often. That’s my take. 😊
