Glinda Costume Breakdown || Starting Glinda's Bubble Dress from the musical Wicked

I plan on making an 1860s version of this dress and I can feel like it is inspired by some Dior dresses from the MET (one of them being the Venus dress) and they have similar detailing with petals detailed with rhinestones and sequins and beading.

Oh yeah I know that Dior gown and they are very similar, its likely one of many inspiration pieces for the bubble dress.

Ooh if you're making an 1800s version you should definitely incorporate some patterns of Empress Elizabeth's Wedding dress

@@NairAthul Sissi's star ball gown (the famous portrait of her in a white tulle gown) is probably gonna be a separate dress that I will make one day but it may take years since I might need to hand bead the sparkle layers on a tulle on an embroidery frame.
