Cool vid as always! Another shortcut is if you hold down the pan button the filter knobs become pan pots. Also here’s a deluge sampling trick- I run the headphone out on the mx1 to the deluge input, and set the mx1 headphone/ master pot to headphone ....when you ‘select’ a track (or multiple tracks) on the mx1 only that selection is sent to the deluge - so you can resample really easily.

In regards to pan, I was going to cover that stuff in the next video :) that's a good tip for deluge! I personally don't think I could wire that in given my setup but will consider it eventually

@@simonmorton3746 I use the mixer as a cascading set up in other words deluge doesn't go back to the mixer. Everything ends at deluge line in.

Cool video, like a good summary of all the other videos into 1 convenient place! However when you turn on all your instruments you have too much gain going on, it's oversaturating the mix. Whilst gain in simplistic terms could be viewed as a "master volume" it is not, and worth checking out about gain staging and volume stepping as sound moves between different devices. Gain is to be used sparingly because it's easy for it to oversaturate the sound.

Yes also I found out if you have gains different than zero the mfx will become lower in volume

@@444levels9 funny you mention this I have not explored the snapshots mode yet! I plan on covering other videos first but I will be learning ways to set it up! I made a video on Thursday but the audio line wasn't plugged in so I have to redo all of that first lol

This is so sick, think it would go well with polyend tracker as my sampler and system-1 as my synth into a decent set up? Kinda wanna do some DJ type stuff but mostly wanna manipulate tracks from my sampler and mix in live synths

Would love to see your midi map for your hardware with the Mx-1. Are you using it stand alone or in a daw? I have gone way to far mad with my set up and trying to do too much.

Using it just as standalone mixer, nothing complex. Midi synched to deluge.

Hi Ron ,I saw your video and I has find out that’s your sound is horrible on you tube,it looks or somthing make wrong connection??i have the Mx-1 also for a few years but ther is somthing in your set up that’s not correct bind to eachother!!!this can make a much better sound!!!its not to complain about your channel but I wil that u can enjoy in a good way your audio set up!!!so it’s not a hatter thing!!!but it can sounds much better,have your set the input selection good ??becouse I see no tempo so ther is somthing wrong!!!

MX1 was a good idea, but the implementation was shit. Each channel should have an EQ for fuck sake! All these crazy efx and no fucking EQ, unless you put it thru your DAW. Their mastering chain is a good idea, but you can't edit any of the mastering algorithm? So dumb...
