​@Michaeltactics yep, their is also a difference between the developers letting the community theorize, and the developers letting the community plan their game even when it doesn't make sense. I feel like even Scott has fallen into this trap before, creating plotholes that no longer make sense because he went with the fan interpretation rather then what he was planning such as the mysterious box. Way more developers seem to have their beginning and middle pretty fleshed out but it shows between the beta and the finale when they change course so suddenly. Unfortunately ita not often easy to tell when an unfinished attribute was simply scrapped or repurposed.

I have some thoughts about this fun-looking game: 1) I think that Lex is a member of the Liberation group who came to work undercover with the FBC. 2) I wonder if the Seeker was always blind, or if its eyes were removed and given to Celeste. 3) I wonder if Chip is a normal A.I. program, or one of the entities. How it behaved towards the Seeker in the elevator scene makes Chip seem like it isn't normal.

I honestly had a same thought that Lex could be Agent Ushinatta, who could be allied with the Liberation. Like it would be a Darth Revan reveal from Star Wars KOTOR, where Lex is revealed to be Agent Ushinatta.

The gumshoes impression you did for the William Grove recording bro. Full props for it even if the stereo of you speaking over yourself was insane to hear. Also my theory, Lex's last name is Grace. She actually made the handheld and emotion chip but not the actual A.I, the A.I was made by the company years ago and is what the merchant lady is worshipping. It's full capabilities are restricted by retinal locks so it needs they eyeballs to escape it's restrictions.

I have two theories, both revolving around the same three characters: Agent Ushinatta, Veronica Grace and Lex. So my first theory is that Veronica Grace and Lex have some history, as Lex recognizes Veronica’s voice and name, but she can’t remember where from. So my theory is that the two worked together as members of the Liberation and were both likely moles in the FBC. And my second theory involves who the identity of Agent Ushinatta is, as it could potentially be either Veronica Grace or Lex herself. First off, let’s go over what we know about Agent Ushinatta. So what we know about Agent Ushinatta is not that much, as all we do know is that she was quickly promoted through all jobs in the FBC, likely that she had dirt on the FBC’s director, and she is also the daughter of the woman who helped with the ‘Great Discovery’. But how would this relate to both Veronica and Lex? Well, Veronica Grace seems to be the mole in the FBC and a member of the Liberation, so she is the likely candidate as she would be able to get quickly promoted multiple times and would very likely have dirt on the FBC’s director. But Ushinatta isn’t Veronica’s last name, as her last name is Grace. But maybe, Ushinatta is a false name for Veronica Grace. But what do we know about Lex? Not much. All we know is that she created CHIP, and by extension the PGF, but she also has amnesia. And we also know that Lex is a software engineer, which doesn’t line up with Agent Ushinatta. However, remember that Lex has amnesia, and she doesn’t remember anything before the accident. So it’s logical to assume that Lex IS Agent Ushinatta, which would be a Darth Revan reveal from Star Wars KOTOR, where the main protagonist of KOTOR is revealed to be Darth Revan but was captured by the Jedi and had their memories erased to make them forget who they were.

This game is a love letter to every other game in the genre. It feels like Mike wanted to take every cool mechanic and detail from all the games he's reviewed and try to squeeze them all into a single game. Overall I think it works pretty well, but if you're familiar enough with SHB you'll see a lot of borrowed material and not a ton of originality. I assume the average player won't recognize this and appreciate the game as a standalone, but a lot of people probably will come to the game from the channel and might feel like it falls a bit short when it comes to style and identity that sets it apart from the genre and makes it memorable. On the other hand, games that take too many risks just to be "different" have the potential to lose sight of the core plot, which there is plenty of in this game. 8/10 with all my love and plenty of room to grow, I'm excited to see the future for this game! Good job Mike!
