Just discovered this vid and I wanna say thank you for putting a spotlight on it, feels like very few know the game exists. If I can credit the 3DS version, its eShop demo got me to discover the PSP original years later

same here actually! that is true, if theres anything i can give the 3ds version its that it helped me discover the psp version. also that was exactly my plan with this video! i wanted to put this gane that i love to death in the spotlight in hopes that more people would find out about it and play it

yeah i play on PSP 2000 i can confirm camera controls and movement is poopy! good video! there was a lot of stuff i learned about the game.

Somehow, I didn't get the game on PSP back in the day. I got it on 3DS, which led to buying the original on PSVita.

I remember finding this game via Terminal 7's ost Then a year or so later i played it but got nightmares and got stuck at this big ball level and got so frustrated i never played it again

It would be nice to see an unofficial remaster of this game that fixes the controls and glitches, since Zoe Mode seems to have given up on it after the disaster that was the 3DS remake. It would be cool if you could use the right stick to move the camera, zoom in and out with the triggers, centre the view point by clicking the right stick, and as an added handicap, a squish feature mapped to the left bumper. The squish feature would show you what the level would look like if you were to crush or uncrush before doing so. For example, in 3D, it would squish the world flat to give you an idea of where you would be if you were to crush, and in 2D, it would create a wire frame that would show where you'd end up if you uncrush.

oh damn, i heard that the 3DS version was just a remake of the PSP version like 2 weeks ago but i had no idea the 2 versions were so different. in comparison the former of the two is not great lookin! ive been playin the 3ds version obsessively since i got reminded it existed bc i played the demo a lot as a tadpole, if i can find a psp in my local game shops ill see if i cant snag the OG crush 🐸👍 i shall right my unknowing wrongs /silly AND ON THE FUCKING ROCKS. GOD. i hated on the rocks. doesnt even have the fun theming in 3D, its just hollow sheets instead of a fun light. lame

the 3ds version is definitely serviceable, and i have it to thank for being the way i discovered the game because of that demo, but yeah i do generally prefer the psp version. that being said if you are enjoying the 3ds version do not let me tell you it is bad !!! as long as you are enjoying the game that is all that matters :] and yeeeeeppppp on the rocks SUCKS in the 3ds version!!!! i do not know why they removed the cool lighthouse theming it baffles me,,,,,,

@@stoic_rose no worries!! its less that im thinkin im being told its Bad and more that im seeing the psp version and immediately liking it more than the 3ds version. lol my guess on why on the rocks is so much more boring is to cut costs or save time (maybe both) but that doesnt change that its lame. my main grievance with it is honestly just that theres only one checkpoint and its not in a very easy spot after you first hit it so its already not great but if youre trying to perfect the level and youre kinda shit at properly timing your platforming (example of both: me) its a NIGHTMARE. combine that with the fact the 3ds version isnt even a fun lighthouse and its just. sad tbh

I know this vids almost a year old but are you still using the same method to stream footage from your vita? There's a Plugin I use on my Vita Slim/2000 that can get 60fps on certain resolutions. I spent a week figuring out all its nuances so I could use it for footage capture on my channel so I could give you a hand if you need it.

Did you try using the Android version of PPSSPP? Maybe the memory stick bug won't pop up there? You can even run the Android version on windows with a Android emulator for Windows.

hey its the original version of that weird game i played a demo of on my 3ds and couldnt actually beat because nursery kicked my ass when i got the full game! good times. the 3ds version is mad fucking cursed tho. it has STREETPASS! you ever streetpassed w someone and you check the games you streetpassed and the only game on it is fucking crush 3d?????? bc thats actually happened to me!! glad to see someone else is hyperfixated on this game like i used to be :3 anyway trans rights are human rights

@@chdreturns It is sad that it never got a sequel. Especially when both versions end on a cliffhanger building up to a potential sequel. If you ask me, I'd be content if they remastered the original and added a fifth chapter that takes place right where the original left off. And to make it an extra special bonus, you could only unlock it by finishing all the other standard levels. You just don't have to complete them or play the challenges, as they can be preserved for special unlockables that aren't mandatory, just a way of rewarding the player for mastering the game.
