When I was a little kid, around 2005 or so, my mom printed out a 36 page document that solely consisted of every single item code in the game, also including the 30k bell code. I ended up using that code last year to finally pay off the final debt of the game, because it was Summer 2020, and I was bored. Excellent video as always!

Before the universal codes or action replay. A guy on GameFAQs had people send their memory cards to him. He would drop the Nintendo Set, NES games and other items you couldn't normally obtain. He was based out of Columbus Ohio and that was only a couple hours away from me. I had to beg my mom to let me mail my memory card to him. I was in 4th or 5th grade at the time, I would show her the proof from others on the message board.. A week later my memory card was back. All around my house were the items, I was so excited! Wish I could speak to him today and thank him for the memory!

Now I want to emulate the GC Animal Crossing on my raspberryPi then load an NES game into. This way I can play an emulated NES on an emulated GC.

Most of the footage for this video was captured using Dolphin, but for the NES footage, I had to actually capture video from a Gamecube. Dolphin would not emulate the NES games correctly and Animal Crossing would crash when I tried to start one. I think its probably something the Dolphin devs could fix if they knew about it, but the whole reason I made this video was to try and spread the word on what is a widely unknown quirk of Gamecube AC 😅

This is so clean, did you capture game footage on the Dolphin emulator? It looks too perfect and sharp even with component cables haha! It’s beautiful, just curious if my eyes are fooling me

Me and my cousin played Animal Crossing Wild World for the DS almost everyday. I'm older than him and we would play for hours and even do the DS wifi stuff. We'll he went home and shared a wifi code with someone on a forum. BIG MISTAKE! The guy used his hacked copy of the game to place a house in front of my cousins home. This caused the game to glitch and you can never start the game as you can't get out of your house. And it's built into the game save so you can't just fix it. He had to buy a whole new game cart and start all over!
