​@@tulionline1239false! When you get Claw, you can either get to Deepnest via Mantis Lords or the breakable floor between Queens Gardens and Fungal Wastes. Then you can get Tram Pass and use the Deepnest tram to get to Kingdom's Edge, and then you can climb up to right side of City

If I'm correctly remembering Game Maker's Toolkit's video about this, which included interviews with the developers, Fireball Skip and also small skips that you can do to bounce off of the environment were unintended and found very early on. Team Cherry knew about them after they were found, and specifically left them in the game for speedrunners.

That is quite similar to how the Developers of Metroid Dread knew people would sequence break so they put a quick kill in the Kraid boss where if you have Morph Ball Bombs there is a launcher that will yeet you into a hole Kraid is firing spikes at you from and you can then kill him with the bombs. Quite useful for speed runs.

I know about an alternate version of invincibility, but it requires more abilities and to be more precise. You need to drop down into shallow water, the inventory needs to be open when you're falling, and you have to close it when you get into the water. The knight will walk in water, then you open inventory again, jump out of the water and start a crystal dash, close inventory, and start a dreamgate teleport. But when you're about to tp, you finish crystal dash, making the tp animation fail, but still making you invincible. Sometimes it can fail and you get stuck in white screen though. It is a harder glitch to perform but it can be learnt.

There's a glitch you missed! It allows you to equip multiple charms at once! If you go to a stag station, get interaction storage with the stag and sit on a bench, you can open up your charm menu. Equip or unequip a charm while making sure that you have the station you're currently at selected in the stag menu. Leave the room WITHOUT CLOSING THE MENU and then make your way to the godseeker, enter godhome and select a pantheon (The first works best). Have the charm and shell bindings on, and die by falling off the stage. When the screen fades to white, press the menu button when EVERYTHING is obscured by white (Including the HUD) and you'll get a charm menu with 11 blank notches to work with! This can be repeated as many times as you want. If you sit on a bench after equipping your new charms and save+quit, they'll stay there. BTW it helps to use king's station as your station and have a dreamgate next to godseeker, just for convinience.

There’s another invincibility glitch that goes as follows: Tap quick map, then hold crystal dash and quickly tap quick map again (storage) Next, dreamgate, and right before the dreamgate actuvates, let go of all buttons. If timed correctly, you will hear the sound of a dreamgate play, but still be in your current location. If it doesn’t work, save and quit and reload your file to try again.

Maybe not a useful glitch, but ran into a pretty freaky bug where the Hollow Knights middle (The one where he tries to slam into you from up high) phase was reversed, with him sliding along the ground instead of flying around. His limbs and face were screwed up too, like a puppet with its strings cut. Happened when I managed to send him into phase 2 while he was in mid air.

I found a glitch where I was trying to dreamnail a dead husk body but sundently a mantis petra interupted this process so I suddenly was able to sort of fly a bit just like u did in 13:00. I did still see the dream dialouge tho.

I just found out that doing that weird thing with benches doesn't actually affect your height, so you can do the early blue lake by just doing that, going to the entrance, jumping, and pressing up (theoretically)

Not really a glitch but bench warping is another popular strategy where you exit the game to teleport back to the last bench you sat at. Can save time especially after hornet.

I found a glitch where you can skip the conversation with Hornet by the fountain of Hollow Knight by tossing with the nail the husk on the second floor from your right side of the fountain so he lands on the ground by the fountain and drop down with him and as you're both on the ground the screen fades black for the arrival of Hornet's cutscene you hope that the husk will attack you so then instead of being frozen while Hornet says her Hornet things you're free to walk. Now I wonder what would happen if you dreamnail Hornet while she talks , didn't have dreamnail when I found this bug, or what would happen if the husk kills you while Hornet is talking.

No you don't hold it, its tapping Quickmap -> Inventory -> Quickmap very quickly. But remember, this is technically a Storage glitch so you need to quit and reload the game every time you fail it in order to try again.

19:07 I did everything right, but when I went to collect it I triggered some dialog and got the normal 100. After that I was locked where I picked up the reward. Wasn’t able to dash/jump/walk. Without thinking I paused and quit to main menu to set up the glitch again and once again fight the boss. For a few seconds I saw “progress saved” as I quit. My horrors realized. I re-loaded, performed everything again to get to the room only to find no boss and 100 essence in my inventory. Does anyone know a way to re-fight the boss? Or push back a save on ps5? Or am I stuck with hunting down 900 essence legitimately or straight up restarting the game(losing 10 hours of progress)

Update: after doing some research as to how difficult it’d be to get 900 essence the normal way I decide to restart. A little under 3 hours later I did correctly! I think listening to his dialog is what soft locked me then quitting out only sealed my fate. So to anyone worried about performing the glitch correctly just hit the rewards with the dream nail and don’t talk to the boss. If anything getting back here in just a couple hours is a testament to how helpful this method is. Great vid and hope this stuff doesn’t get patched👍

On xbox, theres no inventory button. The map, inventory and ability menu is all in one button, and then you slide across the menues by pressing L1 and L2. Because of this inconvinience, we xbox users, can' t do the invincibility glitch. Edit: nvm we can i thought he talked about the whole map. Not the map area😅 so it' s still possible on xbox. Sorry

11:35 actually there is another way to reach blue lake even with steel soul. you can do a wall cling storage in the right wall to reach the top platform. very easy tbh. you can perform it on any version.

As of today (1-8-24), invincibility DOES still work. I've noticed I am only able to get my knight to walk around once per reload, and for some reason after I exit the inventory menu, I have a few seconds to walk around before he teleports. This also prevents invincibility so to get around that, I do the glitch next to a transition and walk out. Afterwards, I don't teleport and I have invincibility. Just used it to do Trial of the Fool with zero issues! I can even sit at a bench and it still works

@jell215 yeah, I've noticed it's pretty finicky. It only works once per reload so if you got it to work, you'll have to reload your file to try again. Quick map, inventory, quick map. Use dream gaye and wait for it to start, quickly tap out and back into inventory, let the animation finish and keep holding the dream gate buttons. Sometimes releasing them after closing inventory works, sometimes I warp. If I use a bench or transition to another area while still holding the buttons, works like a charm

Really nice video. I wonder, what kind of glitches can be done in F.I.S.T since you have a dash from the very start and there are multiple movement options available through out the game. Would love to see a video about this game, since I think it is a really good metroidvania title. PS. Oh and for Bloodstained aswell since that is my most beloved game apart from the classic ones (Symphony etc.) (To be clear, I am talking about Ritual of the night not the 8-bit Bloodstained. Though videos about those are also very welcome)

@@PhobiaSoft I can say that it is a wonderfull game, great soundtrack and in many ways what any Castlevania fan could want. Great for Challenge runs, due to the many different weapon types. So far I did a Pistol and a Katana run and I plan on doing a martial arts run (you can use shoes as weapons, I like to call it the Chun Li run xD) I don't really know of any exploits, only heard of a quick backstep (using crouch and backstep on the same frame, had not tried it yet) and have not yet finished my rando run (yes this game has a build in randomizer you can use after your first playthrough). I also did not play as any of the other playable charaters yet.

Since you can skip False Knight, that means that you can get the dream nail, so what happens if you dream nail False Knight after beating it? Also, I'm now going to start a new game and try to do as many of these glitches (and false knight skip) so I can do it.

Is the dreamer dupe only able to be attempted once per save file? Because ive got it once but I ended up messing up near the end of the glitch, I keep trying it after and it just refuses to work again. (it keeps not working after the dream nail part, it refuses to give me noclip and float if I fail the glitch at any point after the stag storage.)

I just got a bug in the latest hollow knight patch on pc. I think I bumped into a shadow creeper in the abyss while doing something else and I kept the knockback momentum without it stopping, while I was floating up I paused the game and when I unpaused it I was stuck mid-air. Non of the inputs such as walking, dashing or using the monarch wings is working. It looks like my character is paused, but the black particles from my character are still moving along with some other shadow creepers beside me.

Ik I’m 10 months late but wanted to ask if you’ve 100%/platinumed yet? I got down to my last trophies and turns out using that essence room dupe locked me out of two achievements (Awakening and Ascension) even though I have 30k essence. Seer is gone so now I’m probably gonna have to restart and use the room dupe to only get like 900 so I can use invincibility
