Global Caste Awareness Day

Global Caste Awareness Day was held in the council chambers of Jersey City's city hall on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Leading this "Global Caste Awareness Day" was Ishan Parmar.
Ishan works as an intern at Jersey City Hall and is a Newark Academy high school senior. He supports marginalized and underprivileged communities in his capacity as a young leader.
The Global Dalit Development Organization was founded by him.
He received support for this endeavor from
the Dr. Ambedkar International Mission, GFOD, ADWAN, and Jersey City Council President Joyce E. Watterman.
