Global Street Foods, Breakfasts, Christmas, Easter, and Ingredients From Around The World are my absolute favorite formats on the channel! And I get such a kick out of how much Barry loves doing these. 😄 Sorted has sparked my global curiosity and the Sidekick app has given me a way to use ingredients I was afraid of trying, simply because I didn't know how (i.e. miso, harissa, etc.). 😋 Thank y'all for all of the edutainment y'all have given us over the last 14+ years!! Much love to you Boys and the whole Sorted team!! 🤗

It's no secret that all of the normals are big foodies, but I wonder if they would still have been foodies if Ben hadn't hated their food habits and written simple recipies on beer mats way back when XD If not, then Ben is the one fully responsible for changing their future, for better or worse? We'll never know ;)

Except that's not what happened. They were complaining to him about their awful diets. That's why the basis of the channel is helping people eat better and not be afraid to try different cuisines. But each of them brought specific talent to the team and persevered through the startup, while working a regular job. I'd say it was a group effort.

Ok what's going on with Jamie picking Muslim countries for pork dishes. Mutabaqia in Yemen is usually filled with egg, chillis, tomatoes, baby leeks and onions maybe just black pepper and cumin. I have made it with a spicy potato filling which is more Indian. As with most Yemeni food it's eaten with a chilli dip or a cheesy chilli dip using local smoked cheese

My ExHb LOVED their chili spaghetti with cheddar cheese and onion on top. I was introduced to French fries and mayonnaise I know it sounds nasty but it is delicious. Also, my Gma, who was German, made sticky rice and mixed with butter and cinnamon (I had it last night). Nothing to crazy and do not know the origins but it is childhood to me. ❤

We went to New Zealand, and as Americans, we were quite confused by the Kiwi Burger - your standard cheeseburger with a slice of beetroot and an egg. It even made it onto the McDonald's menu! But, I did love a Hokey Pokey - ice cream consisting of plain vanilla ice cream with small, solid lumps of honeycomb toffee.
