Are you a fan of time trials? 🚴♂💨 What do you think of Si, Alex and Ollie's efforts?
@feedbackzaloop6 ай бұрын
I think pacing strategy can be greatly improved. Yes, everyone has equal time to rest, but stronger riders have to rest at lesser power so recover for their effort better. Also don't see if particular strengths were played like climber pacing on the climb and aero expert spending more time on flats

I requested this challenge like a year ago. You replied it was a great idea for a video. I can't believe you finally did it. The Olympic record for 100km in teams is 52km/h average and you did 40km/h without the full aero setup and no previous prep. I was expecting around 45km/h average though. I am sure you would have achieved it without traffic and Simon bonking at the end. This is an outstanding and impressive result. Congratulations you did great. I am very grateful with you for doing it.

I've been watching this show for a while now and I'm already updated to Si's solo 10 hour trip video but this video, in particular, is one of the most badass GCN Presenter moments in my personal opinion. I've seen you guys in other serious group rides together and I've seen you all compete against each other which are fun episodes. This one with the 3 of you representing the matching GCN cycling jerseys and your high performance bikes along with all of your fitness levels just shows how incredibly professional you all are when necessary. It's all fun and games in other episodes but there are times that the world needs to see you all that you are no joke! Great banter, barbs, etc. I am 64 and recently returned to riding 4-5 shorter rides per week in the 20mi range as I used to when I started riding again at age 54 when I could no longer run. I can go full gas more often or any time I feel like it, attack one of our many hills, and I love riding even more. It is just fun. I will ride my bike to town (20 miles) for a chiro appointment or other appointment and set my time to leave so I have to hustle. My own version of what you guys did. It is great fun. Nice work!
