Police instructed protesters to move from the area. Failure to move required an enforcement line. The protest line pushed back. Police line continued in it's intended direction. Note at 4:28 where the do not march over the protester, but offer a helping hand to bring the protester back onto his feet, before continuing to direct him.

Then they calmly planned an end to the occupation. The imposition of the Emergency Act was debated in Parliament, voted, and passed. The police over 36 hours cleared the protest. No protester was injured. This should be studied by police and governments across the globe.
