It was boxing. The top 4 boxers were making tens of millions of dollars and athletes of other sports couldn’t compare. Just a few years ago Mayweather made $300 million and Pacquiao made $200 million for 1 night’s work, the money came from PPV buys which sold 4.6 million PPVs at $100 a pop and tv broadcast rights from around the world.
