It shows us how Elvis did things in 1956. He had his cousins go pick her up and bring her to him. I wonder how many more girls on whims he did the same thing… they are out there but Alfred wiertheimer was not there with a pro camera

Thanks Trey for doing the interview because I do remember mentioning this photo in commentary months earlier and you responded by saying you’d be interested in doing research . ..✨sadly, she had passed as you say, but what she added were moments captured on celluloid which are iconic, indelible and priceless . .thanks again Trey ✨!

Barbara certainly stood her ground with Elvis!! Fantastic report it was great to hear from Alfred Wertheimer the photographer as well. Do you have any more interviews with Barbara before she passed? Thanks, I’m glad I made the call and talked with her. I believe I do have a little more with her. Idk 🤷🏻♀️ the story behind these iconic photos. I thought she was a model doing a job for a photo shoot. My question if someone can clarify that who told her to call & speak to Elvis? And she said she didn’t even know who he was 😳

Her friends had seen Elvis in concert in Charleston and talked her into calling the hotel that he was staying and she did & got ahold of Gene smith who gave the phone to Elvis and they talked for over an hour and he wanted to get meet her..

Mr. Trey so glad that you got the interview from Ms Barbara before her passing and the facts. Not the tabloid stuff. RIP Ms Barbara. I bet Elvis was surprised that she didn't just jump in and do what he expected... young and hormones, lol 😮. There were plenty of women who threw themselves on Elvis and of course he took them up on it. Sadly that was the worse part about Elvis besides his temper. No double dribbling now ! Thank you Mr. Trey. Safe travels and adventures. God's speed.
