@@pjamese3 The aftermarket parts for Glock is massive and the number of people who upgrade, I think, creates confusion thinking Glocks need these parts to be good guns. If any other manufacturer had that many choices, those pistols would be upgraded too, but they don't. All a Glock needs is a good set of sites, but some like the standard sight's.

Melonite/Teniffer are simply trademark names for Nitride Process. The finish on the Gen 5 Glocks, are Nitride with Diamond Like Coating (DLC). The DLC, is PVD process, which is Physical Vapor Deposition. I can assure you that DLC and the PVD processing makes for an extremely Durable Finish or Coating per se. As well as, the Nitride will add lubricity and corrosion resistance too. Nitride goes on Clear, then manufacture's will usually use a Black Oxide over the Nitride to add color and a finished look to a treated Nitride metal piece. Hope this helps some of you out.

I totally undstand where you're coming from brother. But I definitely agree with you that gun channels shouldn't be paid off to say nice things. But I beleive that men and women should be compensated for their work. With that said, if you look at their other videos, they tend to show whenever a gun or gun part fails. Zach, I do not do puff pieces. If a company wants a puff piece I tell them where to go. You’ll notice I don’t showcase much Century stuff...they wanted me to lie and I refused to do it. Zach LaMarca there are two points to be made. For one, their audience has grown a lot since that brochure was printed so I'd think they're worth more than 4k nowadays. Second, I don't think it says anywhere that you can send them a piece of crap and they'll tell us it's great. Also, I can't help but notice that unlike another channel ran by a bald bearded guy who seems to be named after a brand of liquor, I don't see comments that are critical of them being deleted so that says something to. I got to shoot for the first time 2 weeks again and it was amazing. Just wanted to thank you guys for being one of the channels that got me into firearms. My parents aren't particularly pro gun but there aren't against either. I am lucky to have a gun owning extended family member. I shot a p320, p226, a 119 and a .22 1911. Had a blast, can't wait for deer season to end so I can go out to the land so I can shoot outside and get behind some long guns (that weren't allowed in the indoor range). I look forward to shooting again and hopefully getting one when I am able to

The enduring appeal of this channel, in my opinion, is the winning combination of your knowledge and experience, down-home folksy southern approachability, the camaraderie the two of you share, and last but certainly not least, the incredible marksmanship both of you routinely exhibit. I have learned so much from this channel-for free-that I have no grounds for criticizing you guys at all. You two owe me NOTHING. On the other hand, I owe you a lot for educating me on the finer points of firearm ownership. When Barry passed, I was worried that the channel would fade away, but Chad stepped up and found his voice and Eric took over as the main personality. Your content and output have consistently improved since then. The largest single factor in the change in public opinion regarding suppressors over the last few years is probably due to this channel’s advocacy. I have owned 13 different Glocks. I had the Gen 3 19 and traded it for a Gen 5 and I have to say I like the 5 better. I can feel the difference. The Gen 4 and 5 definitely for me have softer recoil. than previous models. Everyone is different. I agree.

Great video. Glock has consistently produced a great mod. 19. I confess that I own 7 glocks. 3 are mod.19's. My everyday carry, drawer next to the couch, and a project gun that is going to be 2/3 race for play. I've carried a Glock for my everyday carry since I could purchase the first 17, 1986? They are an excellent tool. I trust my life to a Glock.

Completely agree. Even the used gunna are too much. New gen 5's should be 400, used should be around 250 to 275 at most. There's really nothing cool or interesting about Glocks. They're literally the most basic, generic, no featured gun there is, and they act like they're the hot shit in town. If i ever do buy a Glock, it would be gen 3 and i would modify the shit outta it. Till then I'll keep enjoying my canik's, walthers, and hk's, and two of those are half of what Glock cost and come loaded with features Glock owners could only dream off... "perfection"my ass.

I am a fan of the changes in the new 2.0. Honestly, just about every major player in the polymer wonder / striker fired game is kicking Glock's ass with their price points, and the reliability that Glock became famous for is now becoming common place in the industry. If you can't bring a reliable option to the table, you go out of business (cough* Remington cough*). Glocks just aren't that special anymore. I still like my old ones and I'm sure the new ones are just as good, but they are kidding themselves if they truly think they are worth what they are asking.

Gen 3 is still the golden standard by which I judge all other Glocks. When I was in LE, I carried a Gen 3 Glock 17. At the time, that was the newest model but I still wouldn't have had it any other way.

I disagree. I finally came to Glock after they came out with the latest version of the Gen5. The first version of the 5, not so much. For the G20, I had to buy the Gen4 because there is no Gen5 in G20 10mm. Had to change to a MaNally trigger in my G20 Gen4. My Gen5 stock triggers were much better than previous Glock generation stock triggers.

If you’re looking to conceal carry, I HIGHLY recommend the 43x. It’s my daily carry and I love it.

@@jrummel13 Doesn't really make sense, the slightly thinner size doesn't really outweigh the glock 19's 15+1 capacity imo. I held a glock 43x and loved how it felt but then once I weighed the options I went with a glock 19 which is just about as easily concealable.

I agree he seemed irritated but disagree about Chad. Chad seems like a great guy and I love his input on all the video's. Eric and Chad are basically brothers from what I can tell. It's all the bs drama going on. I personally see nothing wrong with anything Eric or Chad said. TYM took it out of context and made a video trying to garner attention. He's a blow hard.

Great video Eric as always... I really like Glock Firearms... I do not have experience with The Gen 5... But I do have experience with The Gen 3... That being said how do you feel about Glock model 22 police trade ins???? I'd like your opinion on this Brother... I seen on a Surplus website that they have G22's gen 3 or 4 for $309.95... I am really ready to pull the trigger so to speak on this one... But being I love your channel an content... How do you feel about a Police trade in??? I'm on a budget at the moment....

Not that my opinion matters or that you asked me...but the blue label discount for us in LE is 399...if you can get a trade in for 309, go for it. Get an aftermarket 9mm conversion barrel and shoot cheap 9 for plinking

I highly suggest buying one it was my first Glock, I got mine from a local shop, it was a police trade in, I recently bought a lone Wolf 40 to 9mm barrel and an Xs sight and love it. I say go for it.

Its a good value, typical police trade-ins were carried a lot but shot little.
